This is my favorite ballet dancer Brooke doing her arabesque and the end of her solo Prayer, in the show Coppelia. As you can see she is very flexable and focused. I like Brooke as a dancer because she never complains and practically does everything perfectly. I also look up to her because she sets great examples for her younger sisters.
B is for balance. A is for always doing your best. L is for my love of Dancing. L is for lining up at the bare. E is for everything ballet means to me. T is for timing your dances to the music.
This is Elizabeth playing Swanhilda in the holiday ballet Coppelia. Elizabeth has been dancing forever. She is very young and flexible like Brooke. She in my opion is much more gracefully than all the other principle dancers.

I have beeen doing ballet for 9 years and pointe for almost four years. I wanted to do ballet because my older cousin does it and I love watching her dance. I also danced a lot when I was little. I went to my first ballet lesson at the State Ballet Of Rhode Island (SBRI). I felt very welcome and had alot of fun. My first teacher was Miss.Anna. She teaches the little kids class. We did variations to Disney classics and Nursery Rymes. I was never really that good but I progressed little by little. When I was 6, I preformed in the ballet Copelia as a dawn girl for two years. Then I kept being in the ballet and was in Festivites for 4 years. I got pretty tired of that part so I did not preform in Copelia this year. I did however try out to be an apprentice dancer and I made it. When you are a apprentice you are able to be in the spring ballet. I was a Noble Lady who came in with the princess. It was a very small part but I still enjoyed being with my friends and dancing.
