so close to touch i felt you lean
into my miss-you breath then
embrace me in a no-rush bearhug;
swallowing my sadness in a smile,
you spilled your precious life
into my world again.

your lips, moist with the silver
dew of gentle pleiades,
were warm and soft on mine
as i melted into kiss,
you traced an endless journey
on my back with fingertips,
it was not for me to see,
only feel it now, you said
as you poured stars from tongue
across my belly watching as
they sank in, deeply gentle,
and i knew you then, as before,
while vision blurred then merged
into the shining now again.

ribs and heart blossomed open
into breathing valleys of wildflower,
oceanwaves of colour swayed,
rising and then falling borne
in spirit air singing only
of your always touch

unruly vagrant thoughts
clambered to take hasty flight
on waiting wings of dragonfly
as your timeless voice
banished them and filled
my miss-you mind with peace,
your calming ways and words of love
that so precisely knew me then,
as so many times before,
became the sunlit rain washing
through my soul:blood:tears
and i drank you in.

your liquid tones of gold rolled
through me slow and evertrue
as the moment held,
suspended in pure power,
invisibly eternal in velvet ecstasy
so close to being painful in its privacy
that i felt

whole again
back
home
