My Life. (Or lack thereof)
This is just a place to put ramblings about my life, my travels, my family or anything else that flows from my fingers.
Time to move on

This is it!  It is time to put it into writing and make it final.  Tony and I are over.   What?  I hear all the gasps!  Yep, after four years we have grown apart and the decision was made to go our seperate ways.  We knew it was coming to an end late in the spring, and I finally decided to let go emotionally  during our trip to Ty's wedding.  Of course, there were tears and bad things said back and forth, and the ill-advised "lets try to make it work" period.  We both knew it was time to follow other paths and the final axe cut was applied about a month ago.  Small things were finalized, and now we haven't spoken for about 3 weeks.  Yes, it seems strange at times, and comforting at others.  Time is healing the wounds and life goes on.  I don't hate or dislike Tony, and I hope the best for him in the future.  A piece of him will always be carried with me.

Times like these, one is apt to look back upon past relationships and analyze them.  I have learned alot over the years and I know there is SO much more to experience in future relationships.   Right now I am looking forward to just being single again and meeing other people.  I have been neglecting so many of my old friends and now is the time to rekindle those friendships.

Speaking of old friends, I am going up to see Albert this weekend.  He is a fellow writer and I met him a year and a half ago at a writers workshop in Butte.  He has a cabin up in the mountains above Marysville and Great Divide Ski Area.  It will be good for me to get away for awhile and get some good mountain air in my lungs.  He needs some help putting up a pole barn and I am one of the recruits!  I'll share some photos on my site next week.

And another news flash!  This goes along with the friends theme...I have re-connected with Stephanie.  She was my best friend in Jr. High and Freshman year in High School, then we were pen pals for years.  Then life happened and we fell out of contact.  She is a surgery tech, married, and has two beautiful kids.  I can't wait to catch up more with  her.

Till next time.....keeping my head up and smiling at the sun~
