Entry for April 14, 2008
OK, it is now April 14th, 2008. Time has stood still here for over a year and a half. Quick update, I am working in Great Falls repairing cell phones but still live in Helena. Yeah, the hour and 15 minute commute is long for Montanans standards, but I get to see so much along the way. Last year I watched an Ospry family build a nest, raise a family and move on. I had an antelope baby (fawn? calf?) run with me... he on his side of the fence and me on mine... as I drove down the highway. I see Golden and Bald Eagles, Red Tailed Hawks, and Osprys on a daily basis as they hunt along the Missouri river and over the plains neighboring the Rocky Mountain Front. One week I saw some Mountain Goats up in the rocks. Sure, there are the deer that may be in the road, but if you keep watch and slow down a little they can usually be avoided. I have been spending my free time seeing the sights in a new light by Geocaching ( www.geocaching.com ). I have currently found 320 caches and have hid nine around Montana. I'll write more about that at a later time. The grandson (Lucas James) is now one year old and as handsome as a boy can be! Of course, I may be a bit biased. Lucas does get to meet his grandpa for the first time this weekend when Harry moves back from Vegas. I will try to not let this get so far behind in the future!--mm 2008-04-14 22:38:31 GMT
