Robb- Singer, bassist Dave-Singer, guitar Todd-Drummer,chick magnet So here's what the hell happened to us. All three of us knew each other throughout grade school, but it was during this time that me and Todd belonged to a popular (sarcasm) metal/rock band that we affectionately called Porn Bible. Todd and I were just about the only consistent people in the Band line up lineup. He played hard core drums that could be heard for blocks around and I played a mean guitar out of a microscopic, peavey rage amp. Then one day, we found Rob. Rob, who was a metal head at the time, first started talking to me about music when he saw my White Zombie (RIP) tee shirt. Some how, we got around to talking about the fact that Rob played bass. I asked him if he wanted to try playing with us and he said that he would. Our band was going no were and we were desperate to try anything. We practiced maybe once, mostly covering Tool, AC/DC, And Marilyn Manson, but that once was all we needed to figure out that Rob kicked major ass on the bass. And then we didn't practice again until the summer. In between the time of our first time playing together and when we actually became a band, I had started to change my musical tastes to punk rock. By the end of the school year, both Todd and I were really starting to get into the stuff. So when Rob came up to us and asked us if we wanted to play with him and his cousin in a punk band, we were like Hell Yeah. So the five of us (the fifth one being my ex-girlfriend) set out in Todd's basement to make some ruckuss. And ruckuss we made. Playing Rob's three chord anthems like ?I don't care and ?Justin's a Poser, and my sappy rock song ?The Beginning and the End. Shirley (my ex girlfriend) in her lovable but ADD ridden ways quickly lost interest in playing with us (I think its because she sucked), and Mike (Rob's cousin), who was considerably older than us, ended up having to leave the band because of his job. We always ask Mike to join the band again. And he always smiles and says maybe. Well, since then, we've played in basements, filled in for bands that have canceled, actually gotten our names on fliers, held our own shows, lived through the rise and fall of Todd's emo band, Seymour, gathered a few fans (woo hoo), and even came out with our own self-produced CD which has been heard on the radio in California and been sold in Las Vegas. Now if we can get some Chicago recognition, that will be pretty cool.We are loved by many, hated by few, and still writing new songs that kick the old one's asses. So that's our story. Come see one of our shows some time, and don't you dare just stand there and stare at us. For god sakes, give a hoot! Love thy neighbor and kick his ass!
