DAVID DEAN AMBURN---Funeral David Dean Amburn, 52, of Center, was held March 23, 2001 at Mangum Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was in Spann's Chapel Cemetery. Mr. Amburn died March 21, 2001 in Pine Grove Nursing Home. Born January 6, 1949, in Newton County, he was the son of Rube Amburn and Lena Crawford Amburn. He was a Heavy Equipment Operator, a member of Neuville Baptist Church and U.S. Army Veteran of the Vietnam War. Survivors include his wife, Virginia Amburn of Shelbyville; sons, Andy Amburn of Shelbyville, Robert Amburn of Shelbyville and Tommy Guynes of Conway, Arkansas; Daughters, Connie Bradford of Leesville, Louisiana, and Kayla Bradford of Leesville, Louisiana; brothers, Charles Amburn of Burkville, Doug Amburn, Tommy Amburn and Billy Amburn all of Center; sisters Gertie Leach, Pat Hardy, Dixie Cucco, Maxie Chumley, all of San Augustine, and Jane Robbins of Center; eight grandchildren.
