BROOKHAVEN - Services for Albert C. Lofton, 76, of Brookhaven, who died Monday, April 30, 2001, at King's Daughters Medical Center, will be at 2 p.m. today at Brookhaven Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial will be in the Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Brookhaven Funeral Home.
Lofton was born May 19, 1924, in Lincoln County, the son of Sam King Lofton and Myrtis Nettles Lofton.
He was retired from Keystone and had worked at Lake Lincoln State Park. He was a member of Friendship Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother.
Survivors include his wife, Irene Lofton of Brookhaven; one son, Roy Lofton of Brookhaven; two sisters, Thelma Smith of Natchez and Nellie Rae Burns of McCall Creek; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
