FFVII is the best RPG in the world today for one reason:  it set the standard for how RPGs should look and play.  Before, no one had dared to bring so much to the gameplaying world.  Aside from all the groundbreaking stuff, FFVII had great graphics, an awesome story, and characters that were believable.  Of all the games I've played, this is by far still my favorite.

The coldest villian ever in my book!

You need Java to see this applet.

I became the ultimate Chocobo Jockey during my 82+ hours of gameplay!

Cloud, Cid, and RedXIII were my main characters the 1st 2 times that I beat FFVII

Tifa is one of my favorite characters.

I never did like Yuffie; that little thief!

I really don't understand why Cloud
liked Aries so much.  He shoulda
stuck with Tifa!

Since Vincent used to be a turk, he should have been in this pic!

As you can see, I'm very into FF VII.  There wasn't a single part of the game that I didn't enjoy.  What I found very unusual was the fact that you could go up to the Gold Saucer and just chill out playing games or racing Chocobos.  You couldn't get that from Final Fantasy VIII.  It also had a little side-story that told a little bit about everyone unlike FF VIII.  Now, the over-all story and meaning of FF VIII blew FF VII out of the water in my opinion, but FF VII had an over-all better quality to it.
