My Recent Trip to Arlington, Texas

     Amidst the pandemic lockdown, I ventured to Arlington, Texas to visit my college friend during his final days living there. My dislike of heat, sun, and viruses, I was able to spend much of my time indoors binge watching television series or two and satisfying conversation with my friend.

We did go outside and I share some photos here.

San Antonio, TX

     The main reason for my visit to Texas was attending the funeral of my nephew and his new family through marriage who died from an automobile accident.

The event and purpose was unpleasant enough, less said the better.

What I do share are what Black folk do best when they gather.

Dallas

     Returning to Dallas for the purposes of flying back out from the airport I arrived into Texas, I spent a couple of days enjoying the local bohemian / 'touristy' spot of Dallas.
