• Henry James’s The Aspern Papers, Daisy Miller, and Turn of the Screw

My original plan was to read his novels The Bostonians, followed by The Americans, to finsh with his The Europeans. One can readily see my scheme. I do not know how my syllabus compares with the publication order of said novels. Then the other day, I came across a copy of his The Golden Bowl.

• Casino Royale, Live and Let Die, Goldfinger all by Ian Fleming 

Making the decision to re-read the Fleming Bond novels in random order, I have less desire to re-reda The Man With the Godle n Gun a third or fourth time.

• my addictions is doubly strong with both The Amezing Race and Celebrity Big Brother airing now

• I watched the first five episodes of “Station Eleven” and come realize why I do not enjoy pos-apocalytic drama ⭐️

• "The Shack", recommended by my old rugby coach ⭐️⭐️⭐️

• “The Electrical Life of Louis Wain” ⭐️⭐️⭐️

• "Try Harder!", a documentary about senior year students at Lowell High School, San Francisco, CA vying for college ⭐️⭐️⭐️

• “Close Encounters of the Third Kind” ⭐️⭐️⭐️

• “To Sire, With Love” ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐

• “Death in Venice” the 1971 version by Visconti which is better than the book ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐

1 star = did not like, did not bother finishing

2 stars = completed the whole but either did not enjoy or was disappointed

3 stars = “meh"

4 stars = worth re-reading

5 stars = must include on my deserted island list
