1970 Shelby Gt500
1970 Shelby's where left over 1969 Shelby's that didn't sell.
The Vin was changed . A front spoiler was added , and the hood had black spripes added to it.
It was said that 315 Gt350 & 286 GT500's were changed over from 1969 to 1970's

The 1969-70 Vin Numbers
Locations:
1 - Stamped (from the rear) onto the Ford identification plate which is pop-riveted to the instrument panel near the bottom of the windshield on the driver's side; visible from the outside.
2 - Stamped from the rear into the top left-hand corner of the warranty plate pop-riveted to the rear edge of the driver's door.
3 - Stamped into the driver's and passengers inner fender panel; approximately halfway back between the shock towers and firewall; not visible with fenders on. Serial numbers of all 1970 cars begins with '9' instead of '0'.
