Episode 7
At university, Shan Cai was surprised to see Ching Her hanging out with F4,
minus Lei. It turned out he had been chosen to replace Lei’s place in the group!
Dao even tried to kick both Lei and Shan Cai out of the university but thanks to
Dao’s sister, there would be ‘fair’ competition between them; F3 vs Lei, Shan
Cai and Ching Her in a basketball competition. Lei helped Shan Cai and Ching Her
to practice playing basketball. One night, Dao waited for Shan Cai outside her
house. Dao had came to ask Shan Cai to confess her love for him. He was willing
to cancel the competition and forgive her because he really, really loved her.
Still, Shan Cai chose Lei over Dao to Dao’s disappointment. The competition day
arrived and the game became very energetic when Lei came up with a clever plan
to win the game; he and Shan Cai pretended to be intimate every time during
breaks. This way, the jealous Dao would become very aggressive and lose his
temper easily. In the end, Dao’s last minute decision to cancel the competition
surprise everyone except his own sister who knew him the best.
Dao went
off and started drinking again. Along the way, he met up with a bunch of people
who tried to rob him. At first, he seems to be in a daze but when one of them
mentioned the word ‘Lei’, he became angry and started beating them up.
Meanwhile, the others celebrated at Dao’s house because no one has to leave the
university after all. Dao’s sister with Mei Zhuo and Simon forced both Shan Cai
and Lei into a room where they were to spend the night together. Both of them
chitchatted till they fell asleep. Later, Dao arrived at his home and found out
about the matter. He pretended to be cool about it and declared that he would
follow his sister back to New York. The next day, Shan Cai found out about Dao
leaving for New York and went on to confront him. She became very emotional and
started to yell at Dao. She even slapped him and then ran off, crying, leaving
Dao stunt! Lei went on to accompany Shan Cai.
Back at home, Shan Cai
received a bad news from her parents; her father was fired from his job and they
had to move to a smaller house in order to be able to continue living in the
city. Shan Cai received even more pressure from her mom about her relationship
with Dao, Lei and Ching Her (anyone of them was acceptable because all were
rich). At the airport, Ching Her told F4 about Shan Cai’s current financial
condition. Before Dao leave, Lei pulled him aside to tell him that Dao was the
one Shan Cai really liked. On the plane, Dao kept on trying to get off the plane
but his sister wouldn’t let him. At Italian Tomato, Xiao Yoe tried to console
Shan Cai and both were surprised when F3 paid them a visit. They were there to
help selling all the cakes so that the two of them could get a raise in their
salaries. Meanwhile, Shan Cai’s mom decides to take on a child care
job.
