Episode 18
Xiao Yoe was very anxious when Simon started to undress her. Simon noticed it
and told her that he just wanted to scare her off and had no intention to make a
pass on her. Xiao Yoe explained to Simon why she chose to be so bold; she would
be leaving for Canada tomorrow as her family had decided to immigrate there.
Meanwhile, the still couldn’t sleep Dao pondered on whether he should wake the
asleep Shan Cai but in the end he left. The next day, Shan Cai decided to cook
breakfast for Dao but she was disappointed that he had left the house. At
university, Shan Cai overheard Dao’s complaints on his current house and how he
couldn’t accustom to it. Although disappointed, Shan Cai was happy that at least
Dao was willing to try out for her sake.
Meanwhile, Xiao Yoe called up
Shan Cai to inform her about her sudden departure to Canada. Simon found himself
at Italian Tomato, thinking about Xiao Yoe. Maybe he could try changing his
lifestyles just for Xiao Yoe. Mei Zhuo was left all alone now that Lei had gone
to Japan, Dao was busy with Shan Cai and Simon had no interest in coming out to
party anymore. At night, Shan Cai missed Xiao Yoe and especially Dao, who still
hadn’t came back to the next door house yet. She decided to wait for him next
door. When Dao came back late at night, he was surprised to see Shan Cai there.
They argued about the current situation and Dao explained himself to Shan Cai.
He had to go back to his real house so that her mom’s PI’s wouldn’t suspect
about them. Certainly they couldn’t let Dao’s mom know of their relationship.
Shan Cai felt bad for misunderstood Dao but Dao was very happy that Shan had
actually missed him when he was not around.
That night, the PIs found
out about them and informed Dao’s mom about it. She was so mad that she decided
to go back to Taiwan to handle the matter herself. Dao and Shan Cai oblivious to
what was about to happen continue going out on dates. They had lunch and when
Dao’s credit cards couldn’t be used anymore, Dao knew his mom had started her
moves again. That night after sending Shan Cai home, Dao was being captured by
his mom’s bodyguards. Luckily he was clever enough to press his cellular,
calling up Mei Zhuo. Mei Zhuo listened to the whole strange conversation between
Dao and the bodyguards. The next day, everyone was surprised to learn that Dao
had dropped out of the university. Mei Zhuo told Simon about the strange call he
received from Dao and they knew something bad had happened.
They decided
to go to Dao’s house but they weren’t allowed to go in. Yu Sau quickly handed
them a wedding invitation card. It was a wedding photo of Dao with Xiao Ji. Mei
Zhuo and Simon quickly went to Shan Cai’s house. There, they discussed about the
matter with Ching Her and Shan Cai when suddenly someone knocked on Shan Cai’s
door. It was Lei, who had came back to help after he heard of the news. F3 met
up with Xiao Ji to ask details about the wedding plan. Xiao Ji explained that
both of their parents had decided on the matter and there was nothing she could
do to stop it from happening. Meanwhile, Dao was severely injured after throwing
a huge tantrum from inside of his locked room. He also stopped eating and was
being sedated. F3 decided to break into Dao’s house and save Dao with help from
Yu Sau. Their plan failed when Dao’s mom coincidentally was at Dao’s room. F3
lost all hope when out of nowhere, Ching Her thought of Dao’s sister! Xiao Ji
visited Shan Cai and begged her to let go of Dao because Dao couldn’t stand much
longer. She asked Shan Cai to go and advise Dao to eat to which Shan Cai
agreed.
