Episode 15
Ah Sung and Shan Cai talked about their lives and later on, some TV crews
shot a TV commercial at the café. Ching Her, who was praying to the God, hoping
‘He’ will give him some indications or clues on Shan Cai whereabouts.
Accidentally, he saw Shan Cai on the TV commercial and quickly informed F3 about
it. Lei went to inform Dao about it but Dao couldn’t care less so Lei went to
pick Shan Cai up with Ching Her. Back at the suburb, the villagers began to
suspect Shan Cai’s parents and their stories about Shan Cai’s wealthy boyfriend.
They forced Shan Cai to pay up the debt or else. The next morning, just when
Shan Cai and her parents were about to apologize to the villagers, Lei and Chong
Her arrived. Lei offered to pay up the debts and after much persuasion, Shan Cai
agreed to go back to the city. Before leaving, Shan Cai managed to see Ah Sung
reunited with his girlfriend.
Back at the city, Lei found an ordinary
house for Shan Cai to live in and the next day, Shan Cai went back to study at
the university. She hid wherever she saw Dao and Dao did the same. Lei asked Dao
to make a clean break with Shan Cai so that they wouldn’t have to avoid each
other all the time. As much as Shan Cai and Dao tried to avoid each other, faith
still brought them together. And so, Dao and Shan Cai had a small talk and
decided to break up. Shan Cai returned the diamond necklace to Dao to which Dao
threw it into the lake. After Dao left, Shan Cai quickly looked for the necklace
in the lake. Lei, who coincidentally passed by, saw her frantic look and
understood how much the necklace meant for her. He helped her to find the
necklace. Lei knew Shan Cai really liked Dao and he didn’t want to see her
suffer anymore. He decided to date her so that he could take care of her. He
informed Dao about it as in asking for his consent.
At Dao’s house, Dao
informed Simon and Mei Zhuo about the matter and pretended to be cool about it.
In the end, he couldn’t cheat himself any longer and broke down in front of
them. Xiao Ji heard of the news and went to accompany Dao as she still had
feelings for him. Lei started his dating plots on Shan Cai, which made her felt
uncomfortable. Still, she knew Lei was only trying to be nice and he just wanted
to be there for her as a friend. That night, Shan Cai arrived home with Lei to
find her front porch being decorated with brightly lit bulbs arranged to
resemble the diamond necklace gave to her by Dao. Shan Cai and Lei both knew
that it was Dao’s work. Lei was sure that Dao had finally came to his senses and
had not given up hope on winning Shan Cai back. Later, Lei hung out with Simon
and Mei Zhuo at a pub. He was to leave for Japan to help his father in his
family business which was not going very well.
