Episode 10
Shan Cai surprised everyone by being able to play the piano gracefully as she
mocked Dao’s mom with words. The angry Dao’s mom asked Shan Cai to leave the
place immediately. Dao with help from F3 managed to turn the whole party upside
down as Dao ran away with Shan Cai and drove to a riverside. There, Dao told
Shan Cai about his family history. Meanwhile F3 left the party and went to a pub
to talk about the whole scene. Back at the riverside, Dao commented on their
‘relationship’ to which Shan Cai tried to avoid by diverting Dao’s attention
towards her birthday present for him; the Dao look-alike cookies. Dao was very
excited and touched by the present that he wouldn’t eat any of them.
Next
morning, Dao went to Lei’s house just to show off the cookies to Lei. The sleepy
Lei ate one of the cookies that Dao showed him and was strangled by Dao for it!
Meanwhile, Dao’s mom sent for detail information on Shan Cai and family. Then,
she came up with a plan to get rid of Shan Cai. She went to Shan Cai’s house and
offered her US$1 million dollars in return for her to stay away from Dao. Shan
Cai was very happy when her greedy mom didn’t accept the money, asking Dao’s mom
to leave their house. It turned out that her mom’s aim was the Dao’s property,
not one thing less! When Dao met up with Mei Zhuo and Simon, he quickly showed
off his cookies again but they reminded Dao of the real problem; his mom and San
Cai.
At Italian Tomato, Dao’s mom sent for Shan Cai to come to a
restaurant while Dao himself was being whisked to the same place. There, Shan
Cai watched numbly as Dao’s mom introduced Dao’s fiancée to Dao himself! Dao
tried to object and he grabbed Shan Cai, running away from the restaurant. After
much running, only then Dao realized that he had grabbed the wrong person! He
mistook Xiao Ji (the girl his mom had arranged to marry Dao) for Shan Cai!
Meanwhile, Shan Cai couldn’t believe her eyes as Dao ran away with Xiao Ji.
Things turned bad when Xiao Ji began to like Dao and decided to try out the
marriage arrangement. As much as Dao tried to explain the situation to Shan Cai,
she just wouldn’t listen. F3 became confused when Shan Cai ignored Dao
completely. After that, they found out about Dao’s so-called fiancée. At the
same time, Xiao Ji became friends with Shan Cai and confided everything to
her.
Shan Cai and Dao broke up unofficially when Dao slapped her because
she babbled non-stop about how he should be with Xiao Ji instead. Shan Cai felt
sad and hurt but she couldn’t understand what she was feeling. Meanwhile, Simon
and Mei Zhuo came up with a stupid plan to keep Xiao Ji from coming in between
Shan Cai and Dao; that is, go on dates with her. Their plan failed because Xiao
Ji saw through it and she became even convinced of her love for Dao. In the end,
Dao’s mom invited Lei to talk to him about Shan Cai. She knew of the Lei-Shan
Cai relationship and she was willing to help the Hua’s family in any financial
problems if Lei would date Shan Cai and steer her away from Dao.
