Episode 1

It started with Shan Cai being not happy with the high prestige university she just enrolled in. She disliked the coward lecturers and her arrogant, filthy rich classmates especially a bunch of guys who called themselves F4. It got worse when one of her classmate got kicked out of the university because he challenged F4. She got her first taste of F4 when one day, her clumsy lecturer accidentally bumped into Dao of F4 and spilled his can of soft drink onto Dao. The scared lecturer tried to apologize and was frightened when Dao made a move. He thought Dao wanted to hit him. He stumbled and fell, knocking down a basket filled with basketballs carried by Shan Cai and Li Chen. Dao then kicked the empty basket out of his way as F3 followed behind. Shan Cai was really angry but she was surprised when Lei stopped to put the basket back into place.

Later on at Italian Tomato, Shan Cai kept Xiao Yoe updated on her university life especially on the morning incident with F4. Xiao Yoe commented that Shan Cai had become a totally different person upon entering the university. She used to be a fearless, helpful girl but now she seems to mind only her own business. At home, Shan Cai’s mom kept on pestering her about her social life at the university. Shan Cai tried to persuade her mom to let her stop schooling at the university but to no avail. On the other hand, F4 hung out at a pub whereby they had to fend off guys whose girls were being courted by Simon just for fun. The very next day, Shan Cai messed with F4 when Li Chen accidentally slipped at the staircase and her stuff hit Dao. Li Chen was being pushed away by Dao when she tried to apologize to him. Shan Cai felt Dao was behaving way too rude that she loses control of herself and started scolding Dao until Dao was speechless. Dao was very mad. Shan Cai knew that she would be in a lot of trouble soon.

The next day, no one dared to talk to Shan Cai because she got red tag stuck on her back! Everyone played tricks on her till she almost went mad! Still she managed to stand up for herself again when Li Chen secretly apologized to her by giving her a white bear. Shan Cai had her first real encounter with Lei when she went up to the rooftop to shout out all her anger for F4. She found Lei alone there. Shan Cai was touched when Lei handed her his hankie to clean her face. On her way home, Shan Cai bumped into Dao who told her that he was impressed that she was able to last this long and asked her to prepare for tomorrow’s attack. After much thinking, Shan Cai decided to declare war on F4 and challenged Dao by sticking her own self-made red tag onto Dao’s forehead! Xiao Yoe was very happy that the old Shan Cai had emerged once again. At the pub, Simon and Mei Zhuo bet with Dao that he wouldn’t be able to play Shan Cai out because they were very much alike; strong headed. At the university, Shan Cai received her biggest surprise when 2 guys sent by Dao tried to rape her (Dao only wanted to scare her). Lei came in time to rescue Shan Cai and her boldness came tumbling down. In order to get Shan Cai to stop crying, Lei taught her to turned upside down (head on the floor, feet in the air) to stop the flowing of the tears.

The next day Shan Cai waited for Dao at university and punched him on the face, scolding him for his unmoral trick. Dao went into total shock and then came up with a plan. Shan Cai was disappointed when Lei didn’t show up at the rooftop that day. She was wandering around the university when she saw Lei practicing violin at the music room. Lei was not happy to have her as his audience. Shan Cai told him that she would wait for him at the rooftop everyday till he shows up. After class, Shan Cai was kidnapped by Dao’s men and brought to Dao’s house. It turned out, Dao’s plan was to offer Shan Cai the right to be his girlfriend, which of course, she thought was ridiculous and turned him down flat!
