Later Jia Le is preparing cappuccino and some cookies. Mickey walks in and comments that Jia Le's nails are really pretty. Jia Le invites Mickey to go for a manicure later, but Mickey declines because her nails won't grow out and they always break. Then Jia Le leaves to take the platter to Ying Feng. Mickey tries to stop her but it was too late.
Outside of Ying Feng's office there's a "Do not disturb sign." Inside, Ying Feng is in deep thought and thinking out loud. Jia Le is outside and calls Ying Feng, but he doesn't hear her since he's busy thinking. So she just ignores the sign and walks in, shouting "Tea Time!" Ying Feng is alarmed and falls out of his seat. He scolds at her making Jia Le about to cry. She puts down the cookies and cappuccino and leaves looking like tears were about to fall any minute.
Jia Le sadly starts to walk back to her desk. Mickey sees her and apologizes to her for not warning her earlier. Whenever Ying Feng is working, no one should disturb him or he'll flip out on them. Jia Le goes back to her desk. She was about to type on the keyboard, when she notices that one of her nails broke. She screams, scaring everyone in the company.
Ying Feng can't seem to think of any ideas for the company. He looks at the cappuccino that Jia Le had made him. A little hesitant, he picks it up and drinks it.
Ying Feng is about to leave. Jia Le runs up to him and asks him what he's doing tonight. He answers that he has to work overtime, then go home, and then sleep. He starts to leave, but turns back and thanks Jia Le for the cappuccino. Jia Le immediately is full of energy again. She starts to say that she can make it for him everyday, but Ying Feng puts up his hands and stops her and says that it's not necessary.
At 6:30pm there's lots of delicious food on a long table at the office. Ying Feng comes back. Jia Le thought that everyone worked really hard today, so she decided to treat everyone for dinner. Annoyed, Ying Feng just ignores Jia Le and walks off with Xiao Zheng.
Outside, Ying Feng and Xiao Zheng are moving boxes. Xiao Zheng is complimenting Jia Le, saying that she is very cute. Ying Feng gets irritated and shuts him up. Then Jia Le appears with 2 plates in her hands. She offers them to Ying Feng but gets rejected. He gets into the car and is ready to leave, but Jia Le still tries to get Ying Feng to eat the food. She tells him that he can take it to eat while they are on their way to deliver the products. Ying Feng replies coldly that it's impossible. If in one hand he has a fork and in the other he has a knife, then how can he drive? He drives off leaving Jia Le standing there helpless. Bao Long comes to pick up Jia Le and sees her with the plates of food.
Bao Long and Jia Le are at a park eating the food. Jia Le tells her feelings to Bao Long, how she doesn't understand why Ying Feng doesn't appreciate her doings. Seeing Jia Le like this, Bao Long asks her if she ever thought of giving up. Jia Le looking upset asks if she is really stupid. Bao Long immediately says no and tries to cheer her up by saying that it's not stupid, it's brave. If you like someone, you should use all your energy to like them. He starts to talk about the days when they were in school, but Jia Le falls asleep on his shoulder.
Ying Feng is at Yun Jie's pub again. He's playing some card game. A man enters the pub. He's here to collect the money that Yun Jie has owed for 3 months already. Yun Jie goes to the cashier, but when she opens it, there's no money. She tells the man that she'll pay him next month, but she's been saying that for the past 3 months. Giving her another change, the man leaves and will come back next month. Yun Jie gets drunk so Ying Feng helps her home. When they are home, Yun Jie plops on her bed telling the room to stop spinning. Ying Feng takes her bag and puts some money in it.
Bao Zhu is trying to convince Jia Le not to do it because she might regret it afterwards. But Jia Le is sure she won't. What are they talking about? Jia Le decides that she will cut her long nails.
At work, Jia Le is trying to get some information of Ying Feng from Mickey. She asks Mickey if she knows his address. She doesn't, but Xiao Zheng does. Ah Hao sees Jia Le chatting. Jia Le puts on a cute smile and says, "Pick up the phone calls," (from the customers) and immediately goes back to her desk.
Ai Lun, Ma Li, Bao Zhu and Jia Le are at the barber's shop. Ai Lun, Ma Li and Bao Zhu are deciding what hair styles they want. Meanwhile, Jia Le is falling asleep, her head is swaying to the right and left. Bao Zhu wakes her up. Jia Le pops up and thinks that she's working so she starts to say, "Welcome, I'm happy to serve you...blah blah blah" and her 3 friends start to crack up. Jia Le eventually falls back asleep with her head swaying back and forth.
The next day, Ying Feng is about to get onto his motor cycle and head off to work when Jia Le appears. She has prepared breakfast for him but like usual he doesn't accept it. So Jia Le asks for a ride, but Ying Feng only has one helmet, so once again, Jia Le is rejected.
At the end of the day, Ying Feng is getting ready to leave. Jia Le runs up to him and asks for a ride again. Ying Feng holds up his helmet showing that he only has one helmet, like this morning. But Jia Le brought her own pink helmet, so Ying Feng has no choice but to give her a ride. He drops her off in front of a restaurant I believe. She gets off and tells Ying Feng that she knows she doesn't have much experience in the job, but she will work hard and improve. At this moment, Ying Feng gets off of his motor cycle and starts to walk towards Jia Le. Jia Le has her head down with a smile on her face, but Ying Feng walks pass her and her smile disappears. He walks to a little girl sitting outside of the restaurant, who is selling candy. He buys the whole box of candy, and tells the little girl to go home. He gives the box of candy to Jia Le and then leaves. Jia Le can see that Ying Feng is actually a very kind man. She was too busy being happy that he gave her the candy that she didn't watch where she was going and bumps into a pole.
Ying Feng is at the pub again, but today there was only one person there. Ying Feng is playing his card game again, when Yun Jie throws his money back that he gave her on top of his cards.
It's eight o'clock in the morning and you could hear Jia Le's alarm clock going off. Everyone has already arrived at work and already started to receive their customer's calls, but Jia Le isn't one of them. Jia Le finally wakes up, rubbing her forehead, and realizing that it's already one o'clock. She quickly combs her hair, put on her lipsticks, grabs all her makeup, and chooses a cell phone out of the 10 that she has. When she is finally ready to go, it's already 1:30.
She arrives at work, and of coarse is scolded by Ah Hao since most people are usually only late 10 minutes or 20 minutes, but Jia Le is late by approximately 5 hours. Jia Le tried to explain that she hurt her head yesterday so she overslept. She bows, making Ah Hao bow too, and says sorry and then quickly goes off to receive phone calls. Jia Le's receives her first call, and it turns out that the customer is a tempered one. The customer starts to insult Jia Le and then she insults her mother. The customer has gone too far so Jia Le curses at her, (she actually called the customer something, but you can't really translate that into English, so I'll just say she cursed at her) causing everyone to look at her and Ah Hao to choke on her tea.
Jia Le and Ah Hao are in a room alone. Ah Hao is scolding Jia Le for talking like that to the customer. Jia Le doesn't think that she did anything wrong because the customer was insulting her and her mother. So Ah Hao takes her book and starts to go down the list from the first day she came to work. Ah Hao fires Jia Le, Jia Le is mad so she doesn't care and starts to leave. But when she reaches the door, she remembers when Ying Feng saved her from the truck and during the earthquake. She takes a deep breathe and goes back in and asks for another chance. Ah Hao asks why she deserves another chance. Jia Le says that she really likes this job, but Ah Hao can tell that she doesn't like the job, she likes Ying Feng, in fact the whole entire company can see this. She begs Ah Hao for another chance, but gets scolded once again. Jia Le tells Ah Hao that she really likes Ying Feng...she doesn't think it's wrong to work at the place where the one she likes works...she doesn't think she's different from all the other workers...because all she wants is just a better life. Ah Hao in return thinks that she's dreaming of an impossible dream, work and feelings are two totally different things...feelings and fate is just a person's pains. Jia Le doesn't care, she will wait, but she isn't getting Ah Hao's point. Her point is that even if she works by his side, does that mean he'll fall in love with her? All this doesn't matter to Jia Le either, at least she tried her best. For these past 20 years, this is the one most important thing to her. After Jia Le begs her again, Ah Hao finally gives in and Jia Le hugs her.
