F4 resign contracts? ZZ the first to nod
Their every movement is scrutinsed by their fans, F4's contract with Comics and Fu Long are about to end from June this year. Other than ZZ, the other three have not decided whether or not to continue their existing contracts. In regards to this matter, Angie Cai and Yao Yi Jun have expressed that the contract is nearing it's end and they are still in discussion but there should be no problems, ZZ has already given them the nod.

Head of Comics, Angie Cai moved F3 from Comics to Fu Long. However, last year, besides F4's commercials and their appearances in South East Asian countiries, filming and album preparations have all been individual activities. The four can hardly be called a group but have established their own fields of development. After the Phillipines concert, F4 have started the new year doing their own things. ZZ is off busy with his album promotion and will start filming Zhan Sheng in Feb. Da S will also be in the show along with Xiao Zhong. The threesome will have a triangular relationship.

According to Fu Long, ZZ will head to Hk this year to film a movie. His schedule before July is completely full. Jerry will be releasing an album and filming more HK movies. Vanness is in preparatio for his album, whilst Ken is also preparing his album and will start to film a CCTV series after Chinese New Year. As the four's contract end mid way through the year, rumours are that they will not resign for the latter half. Manager Zhi said: "Ken's contract ends in June/July, Vanness and ZZ's end in August/September and Jerry's end at the end of th eyear. We have already planned their different contracts and with their abilities, their workload for the second half of the year will only get heavier and not lighter." Angie Cai admits that their power as a foursome is greater and if they separate, they become 'enemies', hence she does not plan to do that and keep them under the same flag. Apparently, HK and mainland and even large international management companies are putting foward proposals to get the foursome to join their flags with very good deals indeed.

YAMAHA BRINGS F4 BACK IN THE PHILS ON MAY 2004

There's still chance for F4 fans who didn't get to watch the group last December 26 at ULTRA because Yamaha will bring the Taiwanese quartet back in the Philippines. The tentative date of the said concert will be on the last week of May 2004. Yamaha hadn't picked the production arm for this event and there's no particular venue yet. The promotions of the said concert will start by February. The four Meteor Garden stars are the celebrity endorsers of Yamaha motorbikes. 'Switch' is their huge ad campaign that we've seen and watched on commercials. Yamaha will launch their new products the same time when F4 will arrive here. Right now, Yamaha is promoting 'solo-models' or motorbikes that are like scooters, because they were highly concentrating on tricycles before. In connection with 'Switch' campaign, there will be a new look on all Norkis Yamaha stores and outlets. They will also place huge F4 billboards of Yamaha plus they will be placing F4 promo material on their service vehicles and roving buses. It could be remembered that a lot were dismayed on F4's last concert because it doesn't just lack promo and publicity, the venue was also small. At least this time, you'll get to see F4 in a bigger and better concert!

Vanness to host MTV Asia Awards '04

American hip-hop group Black Eyed Peas and Britan's Pop Idol sensation Gareth Gates are just some of the stars you can catch at this year's MTV's Asia Awards. Into its third year, the musical extravaganza has seen many big-name stars gracing Singapore's shores in the past two years. They included pop singer Robbie Williams, rocker Pink and rapper Missy Elliott. "International artists have always been excited to come to Asia because they don't often get the chance to,?says Mr Mishal Varma, vice-president for programming, talent and artists relations at MTV Networks Asia. Blacked Eyed Peas, which is popular for its hit Where Is The Love, is nominated in the Favourite Pop ACT category. Two of its competitors in the same category, rock group Simple Plan and boyband Blue, will also be here. Nominated in the Favourite Male Artist category, Gates will make his maiden appearance in Singapore. ***The event will be hosted by Taiwanese boyband F4's Vanness Wu and American singer-songwriter Michelle Branch.*** She is also nominated in the Favourite Female Artist category.
Acts confirmed presenting or performing include British band Liberty X and 16-year-old American singer Stacie Orrico. Watch this space for other celebrities attending the event in the coming weeks.
The MTV Asia Awards will be held at the Singapore Indoor Stadium on Feb 14 at 7pm. There will be a delayed telecast of the show on MTV S.E.Asia (StarHub Ch20 ) at 10pm that night.

Zaizai, become famous, butt being touched

Zaizai is being missed by many of his fans due to not seeing him for so long. But yesterday, he had an autograph session in xi men ting to meet his fans. There are many fans who turn up for the autograph session though people say that their population has dropped. When Da S appeared in purple, fans became more high. And they said that its Meteor Garden 3 going to air soon. After 2 years, Zai release his 2nd album, Remember I Love You. Yesterday's autograph session, Zai's showed out his popularity. He walked on the red carpet to go up the stage. Fans who have not seen him for long, tried to touch him. Zai finally went up the stage and he said 'my butt is also being touch.' And those media who came to interview zai, were too many that the whole stage is full. Going all the way down to xi men ting to support zaizai, besides taiwan fans, there are still fans from all the other countries like korean fans having zaizai tour. the tour is the best de. In his tour, those who are involved in planning are his companies, Sony Music, Fu Long and importantly, xi men ting. The only 'high' part is where Da S appeared. Zaizai was shocked when she appeared and his eyes were widely open and he said, ' During sha1 qing1 is Jerry's appearance. This time, I thought will be Ken or Vanness. How come is you?' As Da S is wearing a purple top, she said that she wishes zai to be da4 hong2 da4 zi3. She even cheered zai on when she's on stage and let zai to say that their friendship is worth it. SIX HOURS IN MANILA: Pop star Barbie Xu makes hair-raising visit

cute barbie ^_^ TAIWANESE pop star Barbie Xu flew to Manila for a press conference and photo op at Shangri-la Makati to promote a shampoo brand last Saturday. But she stayed for only six hours, flying back to Taiwan on a 6 p.m. flight.
The 27-year-old star, whose fame soared in Manila via the chinovela "Meteor Garden" where she played San Cai opposite F4's Dao Ming Si, said one of her best assets is her waist-length hair. Which made her a natural endorser for Pantene Smooth and Silky. She claimed she had been using the shampoo for four to five years now, a few years before she shot the Pantene television commercial for Taiwan.
Pull-outs from the same television commercial were used to make a version for the Philippine market, according to Procter & Gamble's Roms Chacaedo-Co. The TV ad opens with Barbie supposedly reading a script, then talking to the camera. Her lines, originally in Mandarin, were dubbed by the same voice talent who dubs her dialogues in "Meteor Garden."
The Filipino copy was written or translated by P&G's Manila advertising agency Campaigns & Grey. The copy goes, "Hiyang ko ang super straight na buhok ko. Dati, gumagamit pa ako ng nakaka-damage na plantsa. Pero ngayon, Pantene Smooth and Silky na lang. Kaya nga, na-in love siya sa akin (I'm used to my super straight hair. Before, I used iron to straighten it. But now, I use only Pantene Smooth and Silky. That's why he fell in love with me)."
In an earlier interview, Barbie had admitted she was with Lan Jeng Long, also an actor in "Meteor Garden."
Co said Barbie's Manila visit was part of the actress's contract with P&G.
"We told her the local media wanted to get to know her better and to find out her beauty secrets," said Co.
But Barbie remained elusive. She only had 10 minutes to answer questions from the press.
"I threw the first question," gushed a writer excitedly to another 20-something girlfriend while they waited for the elevator. The first question was "What are your future projects?" To which Barbie answered in Mandarin, translated by an English translator who spoke the language stiltedly: "She will have one TV drama, which she will shoot with Vic Zhou. Her sister Di has a new book, which she had written. At the moment, she and Di (Barbie's sister) have no project together."
Asked if there would be a "Meteor Garden 3," Barbie said there is none at the moment, since "Meteor Garden 2" ended with San Cai and Dao.
"Now, there is no good story yet for 'Meteor Garden 3,'" she added. "Maybe, if the two will separate."
Sharing her beauty secrets, Barbie confessed to keeping only a lipstick in her make-up kit since she always has her stylist beside her. She described her sense of style as "more feminine now because I'm older."
Her favorite piece of apparel are her high-heeled, blue and white shoes.
She said she uses three to four kinds of combs to groom her hair, "to make it thick and the scalp healthy."
"Of course, don't cut it," she added, earnestly.

The record company�s ah ah calling Zai Zai this time has transformed into a dream guy. In the �Guarantee of Happiness� MTV he drove a brand name car and held fresh flowers. Once appearing, he made nearby people and fans shriek endlessly.

Due to the fact that �Guarantee of Happiness� describes a guy who wants to guarantee happiness for a girl, therefore the company especially rented a million dollar beetle. This allowed Zai Zai to use the �chaser� method. Driving an expensive car and holding bouquets just like a �dream guy�

Being a car lover, once Zai Zai saw this million-dollar beetle he immediately observed it. He also jumped into the car and drove here and there on Dan Jin Gong road. This made the crowd who already surround the area to observe and get autographs make even more racket. But this also drew policemen to go over �concerned.�

In the MV Zai Zai drives a beetle, launching a romantic trip. Since fans were off for winter break, for the advantage of the fans, the record company especially planned a �happy trip together with Zai Zai� activity. From this day forward Zai Zai�s Sony Music official site, www.sonymusic.com.tw, will have a �Zai Zai Happiness Comments page.� All you have to do is leave a message with a place that you wish to go to with Zai Zai the most and you�ll have a chance to pass a blessed moment with Zai Zai!

Da S:"There can't be too many bed scenes"

Da S refuses to do bed scene with Zai Zai? Angie Chai�s new idol drama �God Mars� will begin shooting after Chinese New Years. Right now the male and female leads are busy attending classes and deciding on apparel. However, rumors have spread that Da S requested that the bed scenes in the drama be cut since she feels that there are too many. Angie Chai expressed, �She�s very into it, and also very persistent. Like her hair cannot be ironed, cut, dyed, can�t be a lot of bed scenes and intimate scenes. We are still communicating.�

This idol drama is adapted from the Japanese manga �Mars.� Zai Zai portrays twin brothers, personality split, a candid kind-heart, a violent impulsive and the female lead Da S is a autism tendency artist. In order to act his roles, Zai Zai is currently receiving training for racing. Da S is also taking art classes arranged by director Cai Yue Xun.

Da S, who treasures her hair, puts forward �5 no no�s.� Hair can�t be cut, can�t be ironed, and can�t be dyed; unnecessary bed scenes should be reduced as much as possible and kissing scenes can�t be excessive. Angie Chai is full of headaches. A few days ago she invited well-known designers and hairdressers to consult with. Under all kinds of restrictions she attempted to find the most suitable for Da S and Zai Zai�s appearances to make it refreshing for audiences. As for the bed scenes and kissing scenes issue, Da S� agent Su Ying Tian says, �She has looked at the drama script and the original, there are some bed scenes, and more than a few kissing scenes. Generally, the scale can�t be too overboard, she will not reject, and also reminded Zai Zai
that he must not create laughing scenes.�

Does deleting bed scenes have anything to do with her boyfriend, Lan Zheng Long? The management company and manufacturing unit both expressed, �No it isn�t, it�s only the drama by the drama, don�t think too much of it.� The fact is Da S and Zai Zai had kissing scenes in �Meteor Garden 1 & 2.� Bed scene is with Jerry Yan, but it was just qing ting dian shui (directly translated as dragonfly stroking water) never really experiencing �God Mar�s� scale. This is a test for the two of them.

Barbie Xu, widely known as Shan Cai in the phenomenal "Meteor Garden" chinovela, will be in Manila on Saturday, Jan. 17, as the newest endorser of Pantene Pro-V Smooth and Silky Shampoo. Vic Promotes Lilo and Stitch Again
When the movie, 'Lilo and Stitch' premiered, it was Vic Zhou, Zai Zai, who was the spokesman. This time's TV version once again asks Zai Zai to record a program to draw out prizes. He also admits that he's a #627 experiment and Stitch's big brother. To support 'Lilo and Stitch,' the Disney Channel especially manufactured 1,500,000 Stitch game cards as free giveaways. As long as you type in the password from the card, you can go online and play the 'Lilo and Stitch' online game. When big brother Zai Zai saw each cute little Stitch on every game card he said, 'Must go online to fight to maintain my big brother' #627 experiment throne!' As for whether or not Zai Zai will watch the program on time we only see his of coarse reply, 'Of coarse! Or else how will I know my brothers?'
