Hot Mustard

2 heaping tablespoons flour
3 heaping tablespoons dry mustard
2 heaping tablespoons brown sugar
pinch of salt
1 heaping teaspoon butter
1 teaspoon vinegar

Combine all ingredients in a glass jar. Add boiling water,
a little at a time, until desired consistency is reached.
I keep it refrigerated, but it may be ok on a shelf.
Boiling water takes the harshness out of dry mustard.
