Golden Biscuits

2 1/2 cups sifted enriched flour
4 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1/2 cup butter or margerine
2 eggs
milk

Sift together flour, baking powder and salt.
Cut in butter until mix ix crumbly.
Break eggs into measuring cup and top with milk
to make 1 cup, beat slightly.Add liquid to flour
mix to make a soft dough.Knead gently for 30 secs.
Roll 1/2 inch thick. Cut witk a floured biscuit
cutter.
This is an excellent dough for biscuits, casserolls
and meat pies.
