
Ingredients: Preparation Time: about 15 minutes Cooking Time: 2 hours to cook corned beef and about 20 for vegetables. Serves: 6 Cal: aprox 295 cals 2 lb (900kg) Corned Beef, well-trimmed, flat cut 1+ head Cabbage, cut into 4 wedges Place the corned beef into a large pot of unsalted water (enough to cover well) and bring to a full boil. Reduce to simmer and cover. Simmer for 2-3 hours. Check the water level occasionally and add more if needed. Once the meat is tender add quartered head(s) of cabbage with core removed. You can also add other vegetables in now as you like. Cook until the vegetables are tender. |
