
Here's what you need to make a really good spanish rice dish. 4 strips of bacon, fried until crispy 1 green pepper, chopped 1 white onion, chopped 2 10.5 oz cans of diced, peeled tomatoes 1 cup white rice 1 cup of water salt and pepper to taste Fry bacon until crispy in large skillet that's okay to put in oven. Remove from pan and crumble into bits.Add pepper and onion to pan that is swimming in bacon fat, and cook until onions are nearly golden. Add tomatoes, rice and water, along with some salt and pepper to your liking. Stir until combined, and place bacon on top.Cook for one hour in 350 degree oven...and eat eat eat! Enjoy |
