Marcus is one of those people that blows glass. I guess that would be a glass blower? He makes bottles and jars and things, Brace yourself for the most incoherent profile ever.

Family:
    All of Marcus' family is still in Galla. The biggest thing about the Andersons is that they are known around Galla for being not pleasant even a little. They're a really shifty minor crime family, mostly dealing with drug smuggling and thievery. I'll write a more detailed family section later, but all you need to know for now is that Marcus left an eleven-year-old brother, Brian, along with a few other not important siblings in Galla. Brian is the only Alexander that Marcus likes. that's all for now.

Appearance:
    Eyes- Marcus' eyes are, uninterestingly enough, hazel- mostly green with brown flecks. They're slightly long and tilted downward just a bit.
    Hair- Baaasically the best hair ever. It's dark blonde and shaggy, but not long enough to be pulled back. He scruffs his hair constantly, more out of habit than anything, and it's the kind of hair that girls love to play with.
    Features- Kind of angular, but not sharp, if that makes sense. Marcus has a square jaw, and fairly high cheekbones. His bottom lip is full and almost out of proportion with his top lip, but it suits him, so things work out. Also I feel a need to mention that when he grins it's basically the most endearing thing ever.
    Body- ugh. who ever reads this far, anyways? Marcus stands at about 5'11 and is really wiry. He has muscles, but he's really far from intimidating. that's enough of this section.

Personality:
     When it comes to the Anderson family, Marcus definitely broke the mold. He actually is not a completely selfish asshole. However, living with such a bad family for such a long time has impacted his personality and beliefs in a big way. Instead of conforming to his family's beliefs, he decided to form his own and just became really reserved. He doesn't trust easily, because he tends to believe everyone is as dishonest as his family, even if they may not seem like it at first. It takes a lot to gain his trust, but he's incredibly loyal once you've earned it.
    Marcus has the tendency to be completely endearing and awkward and generally adorable when it's least expected of him. He's really socially uncomfortable most of the time, even if he's with someone he knows really well. It's just something he's never really been able to get over. Once you get past the layers, Marcus is actually quite simple. I don't mean that in the nonintelligent way, but just in the way he views things. He doesn't make a big deal out of little things, and he doesn't make things complicated. He's quite opinionated, but he rarely lets that side out.

History
    Born in Galla's main city to a minor crime family that was living quite comfortably. The Andersons were at the height of their career when Marcus was born, so he never really knew what it was like to go without. When he was about thirteen years old, Marcus realized that thinking for himself every now and then wouldn't be a bad idea, so he started distancing himself from his family and the family drug smuggling buisness. Once his parents realized his defiance went beyond teenage angst he became the outcast of his family. When he was seventeen and had enough money he had earned himself to get him by he left Galla to move on to bigger and better things. aka glass blowing in Tortall. His family doesn't know where he is, and he likes it that way.
