Occupation
Lydia works in a small candle making shop. She is also a pickpocket and a burglar for the Rogue. She's best at breaking and entering, because she's a bitty and good at sneaking around. However! Since she's been pregnant and now that she's had her baby, she can't really do a lot for the rogue. It's driving her crazy, with the rebellion and all, but what can you do?

Magic
None, and is pretty indifferent about the whole thing.

Family/Important People
     parents- Her mother, Rhona Alsibade, was a tailor in a local shop. Rhona was killed in a pirate raid when Lydia was 16. Her father, Noah Alsibade was a blacksmith. Lydia was never that close to her father because he was a busy man. Also, he beat her and emotionally abused her after her mother died.
    Reilly Hangmon- Reilly is Lydia's husband. She loves Reilly more than life itself. That isn't even an exaggeration. She would die for him. They were really close friends for about a year and a half before they realized how much they adored eachother. Reilly asked her to be his on Lydia's birthday, and then a month later asked her to move in with him. The next five months were sort of a big blur of sex and love and happy. Reilly proposed in September, Lydia said yes, they were married on Reilly's birthday, October 2. Lydia is madly in love and completely devoted to him and really could not be happier.
    Damien Tai Hangmon- Damien is Lydia's son, fathered by Reilly. He's only about a month old, born in July (Tooey, we need a date), so there's not a lot to say. But he's cute! Oh yes. Chubby with dark hair, bright blue eyes and freckles. They're crazy about him.
    Hari- Reilly's ex-girlfriend and one of Lydia's best friends. She hasn't been around much recently, but Lydia knows she can tell Hari anything and vice versa. Lydia told her as soon as she thought she might be developing feelings for Reilly, and Hari was totally supportive. Which, as you can probably imagine, Lydia was very thankful for.
    Sheaghlyn Farmer- Sheaghlyn is the only person (except for Reilly sometimes) that Lydia will giggle in front of. Seriously. Lydia turns into a complete girl around Shea. It's ridiculous. Like Hari, Lydia doesn't see Shea as much as she would like to, but she's always the first one Lydia will go to squee about cute girly things.
    Kale Calthe- One of Lydia's best non-Reilly guy friends. Their relationship has been odd from the start. Basically Lydia was in a snarky mood, she provoked Kale, Kale told her to punch him in the stomach. Simon offered her two gold nobles to do it, so she did. Kale felt that any girl who would punch a stranger in the gut was okay in his book, and they've been close friends ever since.
    Kildan- Kildan is another one of Lydia's closest guy friends. They don't take eachother seriously at all and their conversations usually end in hitting and kicking other adult-like things. Lydia adores him, though.

Appearance
    Hair- Lydia has beautiful hair. It's really dark brown and it falls to about the middle of her back. It is straight. It neverever curls no matter how hard she tries, but she likes it straight so it's all good. She constantly plays with her hair out of habit. She fiddles with the tips when she's nervous or uncomfortable. She braids some of her hair when she's thinking and she's constantly running her fingers through it no matter what she's feeling. It is usually always tied up in a messy ponytail/bun. Lyd pwns the messyhair look.
    Eyes- Her eyes are a fairly nondescript green-gray color. They're a bit on the large side when put in proportion with the rest of her face, but they really do suit her. Her eyes add to her innocent, girlish look. -But- when she gets angry, her eyes can become really, really intense and cold. And seeing that look come from Lydia just kills, basically.
    Features- In a word, girlish. Lydia is one of those girls who can pull off looking a lot younger than she really is, which was something she absolutely hated when she was in that I-want-to-grow-up stage. But now she's learned to accept it. Lydia actually sort of likes her face, as lame as that sounds. Her nose is small and delicate, and her lips are full and pouty. The bone structure in her face is really soft. She's a lovely girl, basically. Her skin is naturally fair and dusted over with freckles.
    Build- She's of average height for a girl her age, standing about 5'7. She's really skinny, but she does eat. It's just how she's built. She's full of muscle, but she's far from macho. Lydia's got curves, but they're definitely not the first thing you notice about her. They're just there, and proportioned with the rest of her body. Probably around a B-cup.
Clothing- Unless Lydia's busy with her less-than-honest line of work, she can always be found in a skirt and top. Her style of clothing is plain, but nice. She can afford to dress well, so she does. Lydia always wears a silver chain with an amethyst drop set into it around her neck. She never takes it off. Other than that, she keeps her jewelry fairly minimal. Engagement ring, wedding ring, .

Personality
    To put is simply, Lydia is sweet, caring, and lovely. She'll start out by being friendly to everyone until they do something ridiculously terrible to her. When someone is terrible to her she'll avoid them and be so heart-breakingly sad that it just kiiills. I'm not even exaggerating. Lydia is one of those people who is so incredibly nice that seeing them sad makes you want to be sad, too. She's crazy amounts of adorable. Despite her love of the human race, she is such a shy thing. Being in crowds or groups of people puts her really on-edge and she'll completely shut down until she moves away. But if you're talking to her one-on-one? She's absolutely wonderful.
    She is so, so helpful and compassionate, it's rather ridiculous. If she sees a complete stranger with a problem, she'll take it upon herself to help them out. She repeatedly sets herself up to be taken advantage of or hurt, but she can't help it. As result of Lydia's need to help, she soaks up bad vibes like no other. When someone is sad, she'll be sad. When someone is angry in general, she'll feel personally victimized. Seeing people hurt and knowing there's nothing she can do kills her in the hugest way. It takes a lot to break her spirit, but when she fills up with bad thoughts and feelings she tends to go into an emotional slump for a few days. It's heartbreaking. She breaks off all [most] human interaction for a few days untill she can sort things out in her mind.
    Contrary to popular belief, Lydia isn't all fluff. She's actually a very, very moody girl, but she doesn't like to let that side of herself show whenever she can help it. When she gets in one of her moods, she'll sulk and avoid everyone, mainly. The big reason as to why she gets anti-social when she's moody is that she's afraid she'll snap and [emotionally] hurt someone. Except I don't think Lydia is capable of hurting anyone or anything. shh.

Quirks
She has a ridiculous fear of fish, dead or alive. She wont eat fish, she wont look at fish. It's insane. She plays with her hair far too much and hates when anyone who isn't herself or Reilly touches it. Lydia is a big fatty fat cuddleslut, but she's very selective about who she cuddles with. She talks with her hands, and has a softsoft lovely voice. Groups of more than three people crowding around her make her feel very trapped and she'll have to move to another spot.

Strengths and Weaknesses
Lydia has no Gift, but has been trained as a healer. She is a skilled pick pocket/catburglar/general thief. She is compassionate and completely loyal to the people she cares about. She has a nice singing voice and occasionally dances for fun. She takes little things far too personaly. Lydia always assumes there is some good in everyone, and she sets herself up for heartbreak. She can hold grudges like no other. If you hurt her, she'll never forgive you. ever. She can't cook, but she has a prodigy husband to take care of that for her.

Likes and Dislikes
    Likes- Reilly. Cuddling. Laughing. Watching the stars. Cloudy/rainy days. Large bodies of water. Splashing in puddles (shhh). Reilly. Feeling pretty. Children. People. Being in love.
    Dislikes- Fish. Cold weather. Negative emotions. Her father. Getting sweaty and/or dirty. Shoes, for the most part. Rudeness. Ignorance. Feeling helpless.

History
(Disclaimer- Lydia was my first character. Please excuse the unbearably angsty past, kthx.)

    There was a pirate raid in Lydia's town with she was 16. Her mother was killed in it. After her mother was killed, her father began to physically and verbally abuse her. One night she decided to run away and start her life anew in Corus. A healingwoman named Sara offered her a place to stay as long as she could pay part of the rent. While staying with Sara, Lydia learned all about healing herbs and techniques, even though she is unGifted. After about two years she had saved up enough money to buy a small apartment, so she moved out and the job hunt began again. A candlemaking shop offered her a job cleaning up, so she took it. Lydia eventually learned to make candles and she's been working there ever since. She took up with the Rogue, specializing in breaking and entering and stealthwork.
    See that first paragraph? That isn't important. This is: After a year and a half of being friends with Reilly Hangmon they realized they'd always loved eachother but were just too retarded to notice. They got married, she got pregnant. They now have an adorable son named Damien Tai Hangmon and are ecstatic about it.
