magic:
Viviana has hearing/sound magic. This type of magic affects what people can and can�t hear, to a certain extent. She can make only the person she�s talking to hear what she�s saying, which is a huge advantage when holding personal conversations. She can make a select few people in a room hear things, or she can make an entire room hear things that aren�t really there. She can also make areas or rooms soundproof. Viviana�s magic is basically really, really good for screwing around with people, but she generally doesn�t use it for that. She prefers using it for added security in private conversations. Her magic is limited, and has no effect on people after they get out of her range. I think a ballroom would be a good example of her magical range.

family:
    The Busottis are a well-known crime family in NYC. They�re huge on crime, violent, and fantastically wealthy. Viviana adores her family and would do anything for them, but she just doesn�t buy into the crime thing, which can make things around the house rather tense, for lack of a better word.
    Her parents are Calvano and Marsilia. While they�re not the heads of the family, they�re pretty high up there as far as power and respect goes. She has three brothers: Emilio (24), Onesto (19), and Vittoriano (17).
    She has many, many cousins, aunts, uncles, grandparents, great-grandparents, etc. The family is just massive, basically.

Appearance:
    eyes- Eyes are a light brown color. They always appear to be narrowed slightly, but definitely not squinty. It�s not that she�s hostile or anything, that�s just the way they are. Short, dark lashes frame her eyes. She loves using a lot of mascara to accent them. (Hates eyeliner, however) Her dark eyebrows are gracefully arched, adding to her elegant look.
    hair- Viviana has beautiful dark brown hair, falling to her waist. Her hair is thick, but she always keeps it in perfect order. It is pin straight, but only because she goes to great lengths to keep it that way. She never wears her hair up unless she�s either overwhelmed or furious.
    features- She has a full, pouty lower lip, made to look bigger by her rather thin upper lip. Her lips are pale, but she loves to make them stand out by using lip-gloss and dark shades of lipstick. Dark colors suit her, causing her to look classy rather than omggothic. Her nose is small, but by no means delicate. The tip of her nose is turned down slightly. Viviana is planning on getting a nose job as soon as she�s out of school. She has a nice complexion and pale skin, accented by her dark hair and make up. Her ears are pierced twice in each ear.
    build- Viviana is tall, about 5�9, and she is insanely skinny for her height. She has been accused of anorexia quite a few times, but she does eat. Her curves are practically nonexistent, and even after she�s fully developed she�ll probably be wearing around a B. Her legs are long and toned, but proportioned with the rest of her body.
    clothing- Mostly vintage, mixed with a little bit of mod. She likes bold prints- polka dots, stripes, etc. She knows what colors she looks good in, and avoids all other colors at all costs. She has good taste in clothing, understanding how to reveal enough, but not too much. She basically strives to look classy all the time. Also, she can strut around in high heels like nobody�s business.

personality:
    Viviana is really elegant and classy, basically. She can seem cold and uncaring at times, but she�s really just reserved. She is very eloquent, not speaking unless she has something to say, and she will hardly ever strike up a conversation just for the hell of it. She tries to avoid sarcasm, usually just saying exactly what she means, regardless of whom it may hurt.
    Though she�s as reserved around strangers as she is around her best friend, she tends to relax and let her guard down around guys. She has the uncanny ability to do the most hypo-masculine things ever and still seem incredibly feminine while doing them. One of her guilty pleasures is gangster/con/mafia films. The only reason why she can take violence on a screen and not in real life is because she understands what�s real and what�s just a story. She isn�t very open-minded at all. Once she gets her mind set on something, she wont let anyone try to change her opinions.
    Viviana tends to swear a lot (minus ten classy points.) It�s not that she tries to sound badass or anything; she just expresses herself better that way. Or that�s what she says, anyways. It started out being a way to express herself, but now it�s mostly habit. She doesn�t strut around cursing in front of perfect strangers, unless she�s really fired up, however. You know Viviana is comfortable around you when she starts swearing in the middle of a perfectly normal conversation.

strengths and weaknesses:
    strengths- She can read people�s emotions and body language and such. She knows when to shut up, but also knows when she needs to speak up. She isn�t squeamish at all, and always thinks before acting. She�s good with logic, maths, sciences, and the like. Sensible. She knows ways to really, really hurt people, which could prove useful, as her family has many enemies. She mainly sees it as a weakness, though. She�s also sort of fantastic at throwing things up in the air and catching them with her mouth.
    weaknesses- She sometimes swears around the wrong people. She�s incredibly stubborn and isn�t open-minded at all. She�s quick to judge, and first impressions mean everything to her. She can never see any faults in the ones she loves. She sees everything as being black and white, with no gray area. She either likes you or she doesn�t, and that�s that. She is quick to trust, but only when it comes to guys. If a guy hurts her or turns out to be a jerk, she�ll become incredibly confused and hurt. She�s never had a bad relationship in her life, but when she does, the results will be disastrous.

likes and dislikes
    likes- polka dots, mascara, oversized sunglasses, Edgar Allen Poe, swearing, coffee, tennis, fashion, gangster movies, candles, high heels, older guys, jewelry, big dogs, scandal/drama, emo music.
    dislikes: eyeliner, hard rock, rap, tennis shoes that aren�t trendy, smokers, cats, golf, fights/violence, pop stars, contact sports, getting sweaty and/or dirty, emo kids.

history: Viviana was born in New York City and raised by her entire family. She learned all about the family business early on, but didn�t dig. For most of her life, she has been hassled by her family to join in the Busotti crime legacy, but she just can�t do it. She has seen so many disturbing things that teenage girls prooobably shouldn�t see. While she�s learned to accept the fact that crime and violence will always be a part of her life, deep down, she hates it. Despite her hate of violence and crime, she refuses to see her family as the bad guys in the situation. She tends to blame all the violence and hate on whoever her family is fighting/killing, instead. After being privately tutored for her whole life, she asked her parents to send her to Whispers Academy, using the excuse that she wanted to meet new people. Truth is, she needed a break from all the crime in the house. A very, very long break.
