appearance
    hair- Her hair is a light brown color, falling in waves a few inches past her shoulders. It's soft and lovely, and almost always down. She tends to hide behind her hair more than anyone ever should.
    eyes- Fairly nondescript coloring, blueish green, some brown flecks. Hazel. The most remarkable thing about her eyes is their expression. Nearly every emotion she's feeling shines through her eyes, and there's nothing she can do about it. They're usually sadsad; not the wide-eyed Bambi look, just sad.
    features- She has really soft bone structure. A full bottom lip, small nose, and a rather high forehead. She really is a pretty girl, but in a tragic sort of way.
    extras- Not a whole lot! Her ears are pierced once, and she usually just has small diamond studs in those holes. She has a small heart-shaped locket that she wears at all times, but usually keeps it tucked inside her shirt.
    clothing- Nothing special. Jeans, t-shirts, tanktops, camis, whatever. She's a big fan of sweaters, but she wont wear them in the summer, obviously.

magic
Kirsten's magic is a big part of the reason why she's so sad. It allows her to sense other people's emotions. If the emotion they're feeling is extreme enough, then she'll feel it herself. She hates her magic so much, because it causes her pain more often than not. Her magic also has the potential to be a very healing thing for her. She also feels good emotions, but because of the people she surrounds herself with, that doesn't happen often.

family
    parents- Both big fatty fat psychologists. Her mother has a TV show, and her father has a number of books published. Since Kirsten was an only child, she was her parents' pride and joy. However, as soon as parts of Kirsten's life blew up, they lost all sense of pride in their daughter. They didn't know how to handle her, or what would set off a complete emotional breakdown. They sent her away to a boarding school and distanced themselves as much as possible.

personality
    Very, very sad. Reasons as to why are coming up in the history section. She's quiet and reserved, preferring not to talk to people until she knows enough about them. She's easily startled, and usually always on edge. I don't mean "on edge" in the stressed sense, she's just never fully relaxed. Loud noises and sudden movements will make her jump, because she assumes the source of either is trying to hurt her. She's fragile and broken, but not emo. If that makes any sense at all. She lies to protect herself.
    However. Once someone proves to her that they can be trusted, she'll never leave them for the world. She doesn't have many friends, but she's absolutely wonderful to the ones she does have. She just really, really wants to be happy and the friends she does have are slowly helping her get there.

    strengths- Completely loyal to her loved ones. Her magic sometimes helps her, but not a whole lot. She's a believeable liar.
    weaknesses- Most of these were stated in the personality section, but let's review. She is sad, untrusting, and very fragile. She doesn't always know what's best for her. And she's really skittish.
