Lands: The Duponts have holdings in northern Dyan. They have a lot a lot of land, all really fertile, and all worked by the peasants. The Duponts own this huge, stone mansion that has basically been in the family for... forever. The mansion is surrounded by a small, but thinning forest. The farmland is a few acres away from the house, because honestly, who wants to look out their window and see dirty peasants working? Not the Duponts! Elaine goes back to Dyan ever summer and for holidays. She <3s her land.

Magic:
Light elemental! Elaine is convinced it's the most useless thing in the world, but she's actually pretty good at using it. She can create light or get rid of it and that's about it.

Fighting Skills:
Kinna in the nonexisting department! She occasionally bitch-slaps people who piss her off, but she generally likes to keep that on the D.L.

Family:
     The Duponts are highly ambitious and are widely known for being a big clan of assholes. They've been working their way to the top of the social ladder for generations by means of backstabbing, theft, and just... being really shifty people.     Parents are Alden and Isabelle Dupont. Elaine's parents really aren't a very big part of her life! They provide for her, but other than that, she really doesn't need them for anything. She's come to terms with the fact that they're going to give her away to the highest bidder at some point. It's not that Elaine and her parents don't get along, it's just that.. they're really not that important to her.
    Elaine adores her siblings, though! Adrienne is 22 and married. Elaine is so, so close to her sister. Despite the age difference, they really are best friends. Dimitri, her older brother, is 18. Ever since he became old enough, he's been living the court life and letting Isabelle and Alden try to find him a suitable wife. And Elaine has a few younger siblings, but they really aren't that important to her.

Appearance:
     Hair- Lightlight brown, dirty blonde, whatever. It sometimes almost looks red in the right light. Elaine's hair falls a few inches past her shoulders. And it is wavy, oh yes.
     Eyes- Pretty nondescript, actually! They're hazel in color, leaning more towards the green side. They're tilted upwards juust a bit, but not so much that you'd really notice. Most of Elaine's expressions never reach her eyes.
     Features- Soo super soft. Her face is rather round. She has a thin upper lip and a full lower lip. And her bone structure is just... not pronounced at all. Elaine has freckles! But she usually does whatever she can to keep them hidden.
     Body- Elaine has this really killer body even without wearing corsets and the like. She's fairly tall- about 5'8 and curvy in a good way. Think hourglass figure. Her chest is about a C-cup, she has a tiny waist, and wide hips. She knows she has a great body, and has been known to use that to her advantage.
     Clothing- Likes to look classier than everyone else! Most of her gowns are deep colors with cuts that flatter her body type. That's not to say she dresses like a whore all the time, she just knows what looks good on her and what people like to see on her.

Personality:
    Elaine is a lot of different things to a lot of different people. No one can ever be quite sure what to expect from her. That's not to say she's some psycho bitch or anything. Just hear me out. I'll do my best to explain.
    To her friends, Elaine is actually a really lovely, fun girl. She doesn't have many good friends, but she's comfortable enough around the few she does have to let her real self shine through. She's witty, charming, and pretty much the most loyal friend anyone could ever ask for. While from an outsider's point of view it would seem like Elaine pushes her friends away, she really does adore them. True, she does test people more than she should, but it's her way of seeing if they care as much as she does. People who are close enough to her know this and are used to it.
     However! Those who aren't her friend see a completely different side to Elaine. A bitchy, snarky, cynical side that really isn't flattering at all. She manipulates people shamlessly. She knows what she wants, and she doesn't care who she steps on or who she hurts to get it. She looks down on anyone who isn't high-ranking and doesn't feel a need to waste her time with them. Elaine can be really blunt, and she tends to tear people apart without even realize she's doing it.

Likes: dressing up. classy people. dry wit. cynicism. writing. her family's land. stars. her friends. clear nights.
Dislikes: drugs. losing control. being told what to do. not being taken seriously. anyone who isn't her friend.

History:
    Ever since day one Elaine has been taught to never accept what she's given. The Duponts are firm in their beliefs that you can be whatever you want, as long as you work hard enough to get it. Older generations tend to hate slash fear the Duponts, because a few generations ago there was this really shifty buisness involving marriage and murder and the Duponts gaining a lot of power. Since then, the family has been more surreptitious about climbing the ranks, but their reputation has stuck. Elaine was born in Dyan and lived there until she was old enough to attend Whispers. Her parents sent her there as soon as possible, because they wanted her to be seen around court at an early age. It helps with marriage things.
