For Our Sweet "Ma"/Marie
This page is dedicated to our very special "Marie/Ma"... We had so many wonderful years with this greatest of ladies that I wanted the world to know how much we Love and miss her. We lost our precious "Ma" on November 29, 2000 to cancer. We were all with her when she went to her final resting place, standing beside her bed, holding her hands, and singing to her; knowing that her pain, and suffering from her cancer was finally at an end. Although she is not with us in body, she will forever be with us in spirit and in our hearts, for her love for all of us will never die! "WE LOVE YOU MA"!forever in our hearts.
This is our sweet Marie before she got sick with cancer. She was such a beautiful lady, both inside and out.
Marie with her one of her favorite guys, her son, my husband Jimmy when he was playing Santa for christmas.
Another one of her from back in the day...
She really had some great looking legs, but then everything about her was great, her smile was contagious, one look and you couldn't help but smile yourself. She was just that kind of person, everyone loved her!
This is one of her in her high school days, even then she was beautiful.
The above picture shows her with her brother Don, her sweet mother, Mom's to all of us; whom we've also lost just months before Marie. Her sister Vicki, her brother Warren, her sisters, Gay and Jean and Marie herself, missing from the picture is Marie's other sister Gloria. As you can tell we are all a very close knit family, that believe that family is always the most important. Marie strived to make sure all of her family knew how much she loved them.
This story letter was written by our daughter Gabrielle right after we lost our dear Marie/"Ma" to cancer. At the age of 14 Gabrielle understood, and felt all that we as adults sometime miss.
For A loving lady:
Marie Louise your beautiful smile always filled with love never filled with fear, you were always there to comfort me when harm was near, when I was sad you held my hand and told me that the outcome wouldn't be as bad, you would kiss my cheek and play with my hair but now your not there.I remember every time we were mean to each other, you would say we need to love each other and be a good family I understand now why you say that because we won't always have each other. As we can all now see you suffered for a long time just to take care of us because until now we didn't know how to take care of ourselves without you. You helped us through thick and thin and carried us when we could not depend on ourselves for anything. We know now you're in a better place that there's a time for all of us and it will be ok. Because you are there to watch over us and guide us through you're the light that always shines throughyour face never showed fearyour face sometime showed pain and showed that your time was nearyou were ready for the end and to rest in peace, and you waited and held on till we were all there to see you as you neared your resting placeWe will love you forever. When our time comes we will know once again we can be with youthere were a million tears shed as we all rounded your bed holding your hands until "God" did his job, and took your pain away. You now aren't suffering and can watch us in peace, without worrying if your life would cease and you could not be there to protect us from harm that should come. Now you can watch over us on your little spot by the sunWe will be there with you someday, maybe real soon; but save me a place where you and I could sit and talk by the moon. We miss you a lot but we can't be so selfish for your time has come and now you are gone, your now with your family in heaven, your mom, dad and sister. We have each other but we pray every night that you are ok, and that you are being taken care of. Fom what we know "God" has set us all a place at his table so that someday we can be together once again from then forever. Your pain is gone your healthy and more beautiful then ever you now have beautiful wings and a beautiful halo. We all visit you every night in our dreams hoping they will soon become reality. We miss your more then ever we always see your face when we close our eyes and you are sitting there in your normal place our hearts our thoughts and in our tears please never forget our love for you is dearrest in peace we will take care of each other so you need not worry then someday we can all be at rest knowing we had a great mother and grandmother. We do not have to suffer we don't have to cry but need to just be happy that you are in "God's" good hands. We will take care of each other and everyone new but please remember most of all We love you!
