I am the mother of 3 wonderful children and happily married to a caring, and supportive husband. I couldn't do all that I do, without their ongoing support -- they have survived on fast food dinners, doing their own laundry and helping with the never ending housework -- and at times basecoating surfaces and helping out at my classes. My eldest daughter has graduated from Animation college -- another artist in the family. She is now married to another animator and both are working in their field. My other daughter is currently teaching in a Daycare Center and my youngest - my son is working and finding his way in this big scarey world out there. We're so proud of our kids.
I am dedicating this site to my mother who always encouraged and supported my art. I inherited my artistic abilities and love of drawing from her.
I have been tole painting for a few years and was certified in April 2000 to teach One Stroke Painting (technique developed by Donna Dewberry) and have been teaching it since. One of my favourite paint techniques is Trompe L'Oiel - you will find some off this painting style in the Furniture section.
I have met many wonderful people through the world of painting and teaching is what I love to do best.
