PAUL COLIN:
(1982 - 1958) French painter, illustrator, stage and graphic designer.. Educated at the Ecole Primarire Superieure, Nancy and the Ecole de Beaux-Arts, Paris. Independent painter, Paris 1920-25. Worked for Theatre des Champs-Elysees. Founder-director, Paul Colin School of Graphic Design, Paris.Served in the French Army Commander de al Legion d' Honneur, France. The 1927 "Le Tumulte noir" and Josephine Baker in "La Revue Negre"highlight his style and range. Paul Colin was giiven the Croix de Guerre by France.Died in Nogent-sur-Marne, near Paris.
