The life of EGB

Name: Erin (or Erni)
Age: 18 (my birthday is in less than a month, wahoo!)
Family: Mom, Dad and my doggie Kaley
Where in the world?: Huntsville, AL for college, Reston, VA born and raised.
College: University of Alabama in Huntsville
Why the hell there?: That's been the most asked question since I got here. At the beginning of my junior year I told my parents I would only apply to schools I had seen. They still didn't take me to a single school. I went on a college tour of some of the VA colleges but none of them really clicked. I visited someone at UAH and I though "hey...I can actually see myself here," which wasn't the smartest thing because it's an engineering school and I'm in psychology.

I really don't know if I should audition for concert choir. The choral director has gotten to know me though and he knows my voice since there are only 4 people in my other choir class. My classes for next semester are the same as this semester except I'm taking math instead of ethics and taking choir for a credit, nice.

Tentative schedule for visiting Reston
Nov. 25th - Nov. 30th --Reston for Thanksgiving
Dec. 15th - Jan. 10th -- Reston for Winter Break
Mar. 21st - Mar. 27th -- Either Reston or the beach (but wouldn't it be too cold?)
May 7th - ? -- This is where I get confused, according to my counsellor, in order to finish in 4 years I have to take a 5 week course here over the summer, probably a few. But I will have no car and no one I know basically, so that just sucks. I don't know if NOVA has the class I need and if I could work it around a work schedule and life is just confusing there.

Alright, John Hayoz did this is his diary, but I'm putting mine on here because well, less people read this I guess.

Goals
1. Lose a few pounds. So far so good, I'm one dress size smaller :0)
2. Actually study before 9PM, this is doable, just involves discipline I don't want to use.
3. Sleep less than 12 hours during the weekend nights so my weekends don't feel like they never happened. 4. get to the fitness center more than twice a week, once I get there I have fun, it's just a matter of walking there. 5. Take less for granted, it sucks to always realize what you have after you've been without it for a while.

That is all.
