Recent Illness

To All who prays for Tiffany,
It has been a while since my last emails for the status of TingTing (Tiffany Cheng), a little angel from God.
TingTing still stayed in VMC ICU
unit in critical condition with lungs and breathing issues. It has been twelve days since her ER on
4/21/06. According to
doctors that she seems to be coming out of the valley and is on the up hill. The hill will still be very tough for her as
she tries to climb up. She might fall
again. However, as we all believe that
she is such a brave soul, she will eventually recover from this serious illness. I like the little boy notes from Montclaire school sending to TingTing:
"TingTing, You can make it.". Yes.
We all pray and believe that TingTing will
make it.
We got lots of phone calls, emails, and visits in the
hospital. We were not able to reply to
each of you due to the overwhelming demand on us. However, each of your best wishes to TingTing and pray for TingTing are very very much appreciated.
The school flyer and paper crane made for her are hanging on her ICU wall. She is blessed and beloved.
"Even
though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I
will fear no evil,
for you are with me."
Dear Darleen, Don't cry for what you'd seen at the
hospital. Though she did not look good
at outside, she is beautiful and getting better inside.
Thanks. May God be
with all of us.
Shei
Mother of Tiffany (TingTing)

Note: I promised the staff at hospital to get the following
web site, that I created for TingTing
five years ago, updated with what she had gone through in the past few
years:
http://www.geocities.com/shei_yeh/
I cannot believe that the staff, at her first night at VMC ICU, actually took the time to check out her disability, Rett Syndrome, and came across the web site that I created for her. Later, they even download the entire web site and kept into her records for different shift to learn about her. I'll try to update her status of illness through the section: "Recent Illness".
