Notes:
Here are some of the good notes
taken by TingTing's team leader (cc) and others:
-
2/10/00
T was in a good mood today. I put the arm restraints on
for raise-arm. She was very frustrated. T tried hurt herself
by hitting her head against the wall. She tries to hit everything.
Everything went back to normal when I put the arm restraints away.
She performed pretty good in other drills except hold cup, raise arm, and
spearing.

T was in sleep when I came in. Druing all drills, she was so
energetic and was in a good mood, but kept looking around and threw items
back to the bowl in put-in. She did not do well in hold-cup.
I guess she didnot want to drink at all. Took T for a short walk
outside the yard and she looked great!!

2/8/00
After working with T for over a year, I've learned that T need the
constandt practice of skills she's acquired. If not, she may quickly
lose the skills. For feeding, it's true that T doesn't have the ability
to spear food and it would be hard to focus on just the spearing part w/o
her holding the fork; in other words, it's hard to take the spearing part
of feeding out of its context to allow us to focus strictly on this one
step. Even if we can take this step out of its context, we'll run into
the risk of T losing at least the holding step of this feeding event.

2/6/00
T was very great today with choices. She got 100% out of ~10
drills. She was good w/eating. However, she kept putting her
hands in her mouth for raise-arm..
-
2/4/00
During drills T was once again looking around the room quite a bit
and thus affected her performance. Pace around the room quite a bit
during the breaks as well. After getting up from the last drill of
the session, T was rubbing both of her index fingers on the table top,
similar to what she normally do the doll's eyes. I had alreday taken
off the arm braces before allowing her out of the chair and T didn't try
to hand mount at all during the time I'm writing my notes.
-
1/18/00
T hurt her foot yesterday and isn't able to work today and so her drills
were limited to ones done at table and chair. Showed Michael some
of the drills I've been working on and taught to work them when he's free.
Showed him to do eating, put-in, choices, drinking, and story time.
Also showed him what to dp for DRO of mouthing behavior.
