Tiffany Ting Cheng

Tiffany is my six-year old sister. Her full name is Tiffany Ting Cheng. People call her Tiffany or Ting Ting. I chose my sister for this biography for a couple reasons, one, is because I already did a biography on my dad and my mom. Two, I think it would be fun to do a biography on someone younger than me.

My little sister has black hair, and large eyes. She loves to laugh and likes to play. Since she has a disease, called Rett Syndrome, she cannot learn as fast as other kids. She can walk, but not too well. Occasionally she has to regain her balance to keep on walking. My sister does not know how to talk. Most of the time she is happy. She is always laughing. She likes to watch TV, specifically "Barney."

I think a significant event in her life, is when, a group of people, decide to do a documentary of Rett Syndrome. It was called, "Silent Angels." It showed some pictures of my sister. The main point was that now a lot of people must be familiar with Rett Syndrome. So the viewers would be aware that there are other people like my sister. I think this would be important to my sister.

In conclusion, my six years-old sister, Tiffany, is a lucky and unlucky girl. She is lucky that she doesn’t have a lot of homework, and if something bad happens, such as if she breaks a vase, and my parents punish her, she just keeps on laughing. She is unlucky, because she has personal tutors, who teach her basic motor functions all day. She even has to go to a special school. I think my sister is more unlucky than lucky, do you? Why?
