Area of Need

Measurable Annual Goal

Receptive Communication

Ting Ting will appropriately respond to simple one step requests with 80% of time

Expressive communication

Given a choice of 3 symbols Ting Ting will be able to indicate her choice, through eye gaze or touching, with 60% of accuracy

Augmentative Technology

Ting Ting will use a single touch voice output device (Big Mack or Step by step type) to participate in therapy or classroom activities for 80% of all opportunities

Social Emotional - Choice Making

When presented with 2 photographs placed in BigMack switches, Ting Ting will be able to make a choice with 80% accuracy thru out the day.

Self Help

Ting Ting will be able to feed herself during snack time either using finger foods or fork with moderate physical assistance.

Social - Emotional

Ting Ting will use adapted aids to get communication icon/photo to appropriate area and to participate more actively in play activities.

Language Arts

Ting Ting will attend to language activities (i.e. short story books, computer games, songs) by looking at stimuli, tracking stimuli, with 80% accuracy over 4 out of 5 trials.

Technology

Ting Ting will use a computer 3x per week with a single switch or Intellikeys to access software with nursery rhymes, sequential stories, or music and action.

Gross Motor Skill (I).

Ting Ting will be able to walk up and down a 6-8 inch step consistently without falling. She will also be aware of types of obstacles.

Gross Motor Skill (II)

Ting Ting will be able to transition from the floor to a chair independently with verbal prompting and minimal physical prompting.

Gross Motor Skill (III)

Ting Ting will be able to lower herself down to the floor for floor activities with minimal assistance.

Gross Motor Skill (IV)

Ting Ting will perform a sit to stand from a small chair independently with verbal commands consistently for 3-5 trials

Gross Motor Skill (V)

A long term goal of having Ting Ting independent at transitioning from the floor to standing without the use of furniture or hand held assistance.
