Our Mission: In the past few decades women are being recognized more for their talents as Artists, Musicians, Poets, Writers, Comedians and mostly as business owners. Marketing their talents through education, experiences and determination, many women have pioneered new business. However, in many local scenes, particularly in the South women continue to be underappreciated. The She Festival's mission is to change that! The She Festival organizes each show- obtaining facilities, participants, charities, scheduling and promotions. In an effort to create an awareness of the many talented women located in the southeast.

Scheduled Events: June-Wild Women’s Party-Columbia (location to be announced) October-Shout Out-Greenville (location to be announced).

Eligibility: female artist, dancer, singer, musician, poet, filmmaker, writer comedian (woman of talent) who wishes to promote their art in a public setting .The festival is designed to assist women who wish to market their talents. Other artists who do not meet these criteria may submit an application for review by the committee.

Participation: is based on submission, fee, acceptance and availability of shows. Groups must complete & provide fee individually; and may submit in the same mailer

Registration: $25 for each show, each individual. To apply as a participant in one series (depending on genre) complete prospectus and mail required information.

Booth: $50 includes display space, name tag, announcement in program & website.

Artists: two-dimensional works must not exceed 36” x 36” original and completed by the submitting artist. All works should be labeled and priced.  A brief description of up to 10 pieces may be submitted. *The number of paintings/photography/prints depends on facility space.

Singers/Musicians: if not specified at show, must provide sound equipment, including instruments, speakers, amps, microphones. Include brief description of music genre.

Poets/Writers/Comedians: must submit a brief description of their works.

Filmmakers: provide camera/projector & screen, Include brief summery of film including length.

Dancers: provide brief description and timing of each routine.

*All selected participants are responsible for proper labeling of all merchandise, signage, sales, installation, taxes, tips and removing. The festival is not responsible for any items remaining. All participants and their works must remain throughout the shows entirety. All participants are encouraged to send press releases via postal or email promotions of any and all shows.


Submission:
Once selections are complete, an email confirmation will be

sent. Checks are to be deposited once participants are selected. If you are

not selected your check will be returned. Fees are non-refundable once

confirmed. If you are selected and not able to participate for certain dates,

you will be asked to exhibit/perform at a later date. The Festival does not

provide travel expenses, or overnight accommodations.

She Festival reserves the right to call upon former participants, based on

availability at future festivals an invitation will be sent to all previous

submissions not chosen for current shows and will be kept on file for up to 1

year. We reserve the right to reject any registrant.

By submitting work for this exhibit, the artist accepts the promotion of the event which may include pictures of their works (not to be sold). All conditions set forth in this prospectus. She Festival accepts no responsibility for loss or damage to property during show.
