Avoid Manipulation

Jesus never manipulated anyone. He longed for their salvation, and
earnestly pleaded with them to accept His claims, but He never coerced or
forced anyone to respond. Remember the story of the rich young ruler? Jesus
loved that young man deeply. He saw in him some fine qualities and coveted
him for the Kingdom. Yet, after He had presented to him the way of
salvation, and the young man had failed to respond, the Scripture says:
'Jesus watched him go' (Mark 10:23).
