Praise, the Road to Success, PRAISE PATHWAY. This whole chapter relates God's power, majesty and glory and is summed up in these closing verses, which apply to us as well as to the people of Israel. If we leave God out of our lives and live in rebellion, destruction follows. In contrast, the simple road to success is set forth:

1) Offer praise, and we glorify God. The focus of praise is directed toward God, but in His wisdom we are the ultimate beneficiaries.

2) We receive power to order our conduct; thus, our life-style comes into obedience to God.

3) Result: We receive a revelation (understanding) - that is, insight into God's salvation. Our praise becomes a vehicle for God to come to us and to minister through us.
