Time of PMS:
A woman with PMS usually has at least 5 days a month free from PMS symptoms. Studies have shown that 40% of the woman of child bearing age have premenstrual syndrome problem appears at puberty or at Menopause. The onset of PMS may follows after shock to the endocrine system, at first menstruation, at child birth, at tubal ligation, and after hysterectomy.
There are four pattern of symptoms depending upon the individual to individual.
[1] The symptoms of PMS are appears 5 to 7 days.
[2] The symptoms begins at ovulation and lasts 2 weeks or until menstrual flow begins.
[3] Symptoms begins at ovulation and lasts till the period is over.
[4] symptoms appear for a few days at ovulation, then subsides , then reappear several days before the flow.
