Using Molasses, buy it by the 20 litre bucket from Rural supplies.

 Mix it about 4:1 using warm water to help it dissolve.

 Put steel parts in until clean (a couple of weeks)

 Don't put anything coated in oil or grease in it as it kills the little buggy things that eat all the rust. BEWARE - it also eats aluminium.
