Notes for Daniel Cruger
Daniel Cruger emigrated from France to England on a passport signed by Louis XV, May 16, 1786.
Daniel had a family in Sunbury, PA, in the 1780's and was living by himself in 1790 (Chumung, NY). His will, dated 10 Jan. 1804, was proved July 14, 1804. He was one of the pioneers of the upper Susquehanna river settlements, an innkeeper at Bath NY, and father of at least nine children.
