Like my website and interested in making your own? It's so simple! Just follow my instructions in 7 easy steps (hopefully comprehensive enough) and then make your own website! Enjoy! |

1. go to: www.yahoo.com and click on 'sign up now' |
|
|
|
 |
|
|
|
|
2. Follow the instructions and fill in the appropriate gaps. When you choose your nickname, make sure it is appropriate as this will be the name at the end of your website i.e. If you call yourself 'some_guy' your website URL will be www.geocities.com/some_guy |

|
3. Once you have your yahoo account sorted, go to www.geocities.com . Then, sign in. |
|
|
|
4. Once signed in, there will be several options. click on Page Builder. This will bring you to a page telling you about pagebuilder (yawn - don't bother reading this!). Click on the 'launch pagebuilder' icon. a tool will appear, and you can begin building your website! |

|
5. Once your first page is complete, save it, and then go to www.geocities.com/whatever_your_name_is_goes_here to view it! |

6. Apart from friends, at first probably no one will see it you can send it to me via 'your page' and I will advertise it for you! Try and get it entered into search engines too. |

|
7. Be very careful about what information you give away. Anyone could view your website. Don't give out any personal details, i.e. full name (first name is OK), address, telephone number, etc. Email address is OK, but be careful before reading emails from strange addresses and try to get an email address with a free virus scan i.e Hotmail. sign up for this at www.hotmail.com . |
