My animals are really really important to me.  They are considered family.  As of now, I have four cats and two dogs.  Each one of them was "saved" by my family.
The first addition to the family was my dog Coco, who is a small collie.  She was adopted from a local animal shelter.  She is the weirdest dog I've ever had.  She barks at everything:  the phone, the shower, some one sneezing, and even the washing machine.  But we love her anyway.
The next animal invited to our house was a little kitten that we named Tye.  She's a small black and white cat who is very timid.  She is very selective of who she lets pet her.
The next cat we brought into our family is mine.  She is a beautiful healthy calico cat, which is why I named her Patches.  We found her outside of a local Wal Mart where some one was giving kittens away.  I pleaded and begged and was finally allowed to take her home.
The next cat was BK.  For days she had been wandering around our house.  We felt so bad for her, because we figured somebody had just left her somewhere, and she was so skinny, that we took her in.
Our second dog was the next animal.  He was originally my uncle's dog but he gave him to my grandma.  He is a hyper spitz and his name is Snowy.  He is very loving and cute.
The last member (so far)  is Kleo.  We found her outside of a Dairy Queen.  She was so hungry and skinny that she actually looked like a kitten.  So my sister wanted to bring her home.  Later, after she started eating, we realized that she's pregnant.  So pretty soon we will have some more kittens.  *Yea!!*
