I've been lucky enough to meet many country singers over the years. Either through fan clubs, winning, or through the good old autograph line-it's always been a neat experience. Below are pictures of me and the stars and a little bit about how I met them.
Click pictures to enlarge them. :)
My mom won front row tickets and meet and greet passes from MusicCountry.com (who sponsored the Fly Tour)! It was awesome to be in the front row for such an AWESOME show! When it was meet and greet time, I didn't like that they used their own camera and would send the picture to you. No autographs and the picture was in a group-not individual. Years later, I'm STILL WAITING for the picture to come...

1st Lonestar meeting!
Me & Lonestar
August 30, 2000 - Marshfield, WI
I joined Lonestar's fan club in hopes of meeting the guys at the Central Wisconsin State Fair. My mom got tickets early and we ended up with some great front row seats! While waiting in line to meet the guys, I saw a girl in front of me give the guys a hug - so I asked and got to hug all the guys! :) I told them to look for me and that I'd be in the front row! I got some Richie points, so he found me! :)
Meeting #2 with Lonestar!
Me & Lonestar
June 23, 2001 - Cadott, WI
Another Lonestar meeting - this time at Country Fest. While waiting backstage to meet the guys, Montgomery Gentry came off the stage and walked right by. The guys were great again. I had them sign my I'm Already There album cover, which didn't come out for another 3 days. The guys asked if I had won it in a win-it-before-you-can-buy-it from a radio station - yuppers! I said that I loved it and Richie asked what my favorite song was - I said "Unusually Unusual".
My 1st Jo Dee meeting!
Me & Jo Dee Messina
June 24, 2001 - Cadott, WI
I finally broke down and joined Jo Dee's fan club so I could meet her at Country Fest. I was glad I did. Jo Dee was awesome and the meeting was really personal. We got to go way backstage to the dressing rooms. Each person got to go in with Jo Dee by themselves-no other people watching you (except Don taking the picture). I gave Jo Dee a card and beaded heart key chain that I made for her. She loved it and said she would use it so she wouldn't lose her keys.
My 1st SHeDAISY meeting! :)
Me & SHeDAISY
July 20, 2001 - Eau Claire, WI
I had wanted to meet the girls for a long time, and that time at Country Jam. A friend from a SHeDAISY message board asked if I would go in with her to bid for passes to meet the girls (since the fan club didn't have meet and greets yet). I said yes and she won. I told the girls that I was SHeDANA from the Patch and they brightened up and each gave me a hug. Kelsi said that it was great to finally meet me! I gave the girls each a letter and a key chain with their name on it! I heart SHeDAISY!
My 2nd Jessica meeting!
from the FanFam newsletter
Me & Jessica Andrews
July 22, 2001 - Eau Claire, WI
I was worried that there wouldn't be a fan club meet and greet at Country Jam since they had a meet and greet with Jessica and Billy Gilman before the show (they had to have wristbands). 4 fan club members got to meet Jessica after the show. I gave her a CJ necklace to remember Country Jam and told her I was DanaChick from her message board. Jessica's mom took a picture of us FC members with Jessica, and mine was published in the FanFam newsletter! :)
Boy is Trace tall!
Me & Trace Adkins
August 29, 2001 - Marshfield, WI
My mom won tickets to the Central Wisconsin State Fair and to the 'tailgate party' with Trace Adkins. Boy is he tall! He's a very nice guy and was willing to sign whatever you had. I had him sign 2 of my Trace album covers. Trace told me that he liked my shirt and that his next album was better than the 2 I had signed (that next album was Chrome). Very tall and nice guy.
My 1st time meeting Phil!
Me & Phil Vassar
June 27, 2002 - Cadott, WI
Country Fest started out with Phil Vassar. They announced that if you bought a T-shirt or CD, that you'd get to meet Phil. I liked his music, so I bought T-shirt (since they were out of CDs). We went backstage and they said that you could only get 1 autograph-well I had him sign my shirt and the album cover! haha! Great guy and a great hugger! :)
