With the prefix Sheberghan it is obvious that my heart still lies with Afghan Hounds. For 24 years they shared my life and adorned my home. However with old age on the horizon whippets are an easier choice and my introduction to the breed was my purchase of Mikshar Silk Stockings followed very closely on her heels by her brother Aust Ch. Mikshar Bow Tie. These two whippets continue to give me great companionship and are delightful ambassadors of the breed wherever they go. Max and Silk have since been joined by more whippets that can be viewed on this site and I am sure there will be many more in the future.
