2003 Eastern Rally |

Popuptime sponsored a Rally at RJ Ranch RV Resort in Hillsville VA. This was the last week of June, weather was great. cicadas were out doing what ever cicadas do. Thanks to ANN, AKA Labonte fan we now know what they do:
The bugs are cicadas...also known as 17-year locusts. They're supposed to "hibernate" for 17 years and then emerge. But I think they work in shifts 'cause they seem to be around every year! We took the grand kids and their parents along in the '92 Jayco 1006. Here are pictures of some of the activities (or inactivities)and our campsites. |

Sometime the lake was full of people having fun with the pedal boats and the kayaks. Sometimes people were fishing in the lake also. |
