The Great Dane is characterized as one of the most elegant and distinguished of the giant breeds.
Shebandowan Kennel is named after the lake my cottage is on.Shebandowan Lake is located approx. 1 hr. from Thunder Bay,Ontario,Canada.Our first litter of puppies were born and raised there. I have owned great danes for the last 20 years but only had our first litter in the summer of 1998.Shebandowan Kennel is based as a hobby raising this breed we love so much.With the help of my wonderful breeders,and the years of research,raising,breeding and showing some of the finest great danes.I was able to start a new branch in the great dane family tree.

While living with their Co-Owner Kain & Jessie found themselves stranded in the United States. With some help from some wonderful people and The Dane Train. Kain & Jessie are home. I would like to thank Cindy & Mack in California for fostering the boys, and The Dane Train and all their volunteers for making this a happy ending.
