If I were to use on word to describe this movie it would be simple: hilarious! The setting of The Women is fashionable 1930's Manhatten. The story revolves around Mary Haines finding out that her husband Stephen has had an affair with the shop girl Crystal Allen. The catty Sylvia Fowler only causes more trouble along the way. This movie has a perfect all-star cast. Joan Crawford, Rosalind Russell, Paulette Goddard, and Joan Fontaine all in one side splitting classic! The movie has no men at all in it, but that is what The Women is all about!
