Royce Costelloe
1926-2002

 Royce Leroy Costelloe was born on December 24, 1926 in Bandon, Oregon, He lived in that area until 1942 when he moved to the Forest Grove area. Royce served in the Merchant Marines and was a veteran of the Korean Conflict. He served until he was Honorably discharged in 1954.  

Royce was united in marriage to Jeanette Eickhoff on May 26, 1956. Following their marriage they made their home in Gaston, Oregon. To this union 3 children were born, Brett, Jeannine, Serena.

Royce and Jeanette celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary this past May (2002). Royce worked for the Stimson Lumber Company for 24 years. He later worked for the Gray and Company for 17 years until he retired in 1989. Some of Royce's favorite things were hunting and fishing he also had a great love for travel, and had been to many place in the world and the States.  He died on January 6, 2002.
