This one was made for CNAnime 2002. This costume is being worn by me.
I had decided after CNAnime 20001 that I wanted to be Hikaru in the final battle form.
I dyed my hair a bright red for this costume and I loved the colour so much that I've kept re-dying it the same colour to this day. I added a super long braid to my hair for the extra length.
My favorite part was the sword. I made the sword myself with all the details on the hilt and such being made out of Crayola Model Magic. That stuff rocks!! Super easy to mold and it dries as light as foam. I ened up using about 5 packages of it for all the detail pieces.
The armor was puffy and big. It kept getting caught in doors and I kept stepping on my cape (I had to hold it up beside me whenver I went up and down the escalator)
Lots of people recognized me. Lots of piccys hehe.
